Hello Hellen in Trinidad and Tobago this is what we call this dish "stew chicken" minus the ginger. I never taught of adding ginger, now I must give this a try. Thanks for sharing!

Yay!! I guessed how to make this the other day, I just used the same idea as the Thit Kho video you made... and my way of cooking Ga Kho Gung is almost exact as yours! Hay lắm chị Helen, em cũng hay dùng cách này để kho, em cũng xài luôn cách này để làm gà roti, chỉ có điều là cách ướp món khác 1 tí và nấu tới sệt nước luôn! có khi em thay nước dừa bằng nước xá xị lun lols! Chúc chị khỏe và hãy cho mọi người biết thêm nhiều món ngon của Việt Nam nữa nhé!^^

oh, nếu cậu cho thêm chút corn starch vào thì lúc kho, nước gà kho sẽ hơi sệt lại. Tớ nghĩ như vậy trông sẽ giống kho hơn. Nếu như cậu không bỏ da gà thì không cần corn starch, nước gà sẽ tự quánh lại do nhựa từ da gà. Túm lại, lý do đơn giãn là tớ nghĩ nó trông sẽ thích mắt hơn, mặc dù cái ni thì tùy sở thích mỹ vị mỗi người thôi :)
