I'm so in love with this clip. I used a version of it on my Ginger Rogers Tumblr page. Just when you think you've seen the lovely Virginia Katherine at her most adorable, then a clip like this turns up. She had to have been about 20 or 21 when this was filmed. Incredible how her talented, beautiful and charismatic Ginger was at such a young age. Just wonderful!

I think this video is great! It's so nice to see Ginger's talent in the early thirties without fred. She was a talented dancer.

Ginger wrote the lyrics to the song and had it put to music. This is preAstaire and it looks like to me she could dance a mean dance without him. The clip also gives you some insight into her teasing and humorous side. If you buy the DVD "The Best of Big Bands and Swing", it has Ginger's short film "Office Blues".

I enjoy reading your comments, also. It is nice to fine others who share my obsession with Ginger. She is number one in my book. I wish I knew how to upload a video but then it is so hard to find the right music. She is such a special lady.

Paramount put out many short films in the "Hollywood On Parade" series. Not to be confused with the 1930 musical film revue "Paramount On Parade"

anyone have any clue what Ginger mumbles after Jack takes back his hat? It prompts the presenter to say that he hopes none of us can lip read, so now I'm dying to know what she said!
