@@Pam-ov1bv I can understand the pain of losing them. Husband and I rescue beagles. Everyone one of our five boys were either starved, abused, or had health issues. Everyone of them became healthy, loving, and joyous. Not a day goes by that I don’t think of them. I swore after our first loss that I’d never have another. Husband convinced me so many need homes, and in a way it keeps their memories alive. We have a female now, and hope to adopt a a companion for her in October. Then we will take senior dogs, knowing our time with them will be less. They deserve love in their final years, I know it will be difficult but we want to do this. Puppies and well adjusted dogs get homes quickly. That why we took the more challenging ones. Hope your Sarge is playing with my band of beagles!

When I was little my father gave away our German shepherd, never forgot or forgave him. Sadly my husband when he was a paperboy was attacked badly by one. I joke as soon as he’s gone I’m getting one!
