This guy has authored approximately 7,000 opening videos/books/courses and is always like “I don’t know the theory” at move 7

Remembering theory is always a challenge. It's so easy to forget things, especially when you reach the age of 40 and beyond.

@@planahath tell that to kramnik, korchnoi, ivanchuck, anand, leko, seraiwan, etc. All well past 40 (korchnoi passed but the guy was playing top level competive chess remembering theory Iike no one's business at 80).

Researching lines for Chessable books and so on aimed at lower level players is rather different to keeping current with GM tournament preparation. It's very easy to confuse yourself with lots of similar variations

Andras is a really great coach. Very instructive and easy to listen to. He definitely deserves more publicity.

I really appreciate the good sportsmanship when coach Andras lost connection. Really great learning opportunities with GingerGM thinking aloud through each game. 10/10 🏆

I've been watching everything Simon posted in the last year and I love it, but do tend to agree with some others that say his lack of self confidence is what affects his game the most. Great sportsmanship from Simon, as we are always noticing.

did Andras have Rh3 ! instead oh g4, yes the earth is NOT ! flat , . Other games fascinating !! Ask a friend for a rivals match , they'd love to hear from you ! For me speed chess is more fun when you don't talk or think ! hahahaha Your multi tasking Simon, which requires more brain power. Us viewers appreciate it though , Thanks Teacher. Sometimes pressure creates a mouseslip. exciting stuff. Best advice I heard recently ;'' you have to learn to move without thinking " Alan Watts. bullet players motto ! Awesome content thanks :D

Im surprised Simon didn't play the Dutch at all. I think if he'd been less distracted by the business meeting he would have taken the match. The opponent's shaky internet was also a distraction. Early morning so probably not fully charged up. Should have played in the evening UK and early morning Aus. Would have got a different result. Not a fair match
