I wonder if the bench was taken by the family of the person it was dedicated to. I've seen that happen on this side of the pond. They put the wee bench in their home garden. A very nice video!

If you kept travelling up Brock Street past Wrights and the C.Centre you could have checked out the Ferry Loch 😀, further up from there is a nice nature trail to the the Forth Road Bridge with some nice picturesque shots. Iain Banks (RIP) old house is at the road junction on Ferryhills Road near the train station. If anyone is thinking about moving to NQ expect to pay Edinburgh prices as everything has been pretty much privately owned since the 1980's. Port Laing beach is really nice too. I'd guess the Albert Hotel probably lost its remaining business to the Hilton Hotel on Hope View road.

Another great video mate and nice to see another local place. Its criminal that the Albert closed man. We used to get there regularly in the 90s when we would go fishing at the end of Helen lane North Queensferry from Rosyth on our mountain bikes lol and also around to Port Laing beach. It was a cracking wee pub and i dont think theres a single boozer in North Queensferry now, just the Wee restaurant.

Thanks for this. Lovely! Great drone footage. I'd travelled to Edinburgh from Oxford just before Christmas and had planned to visit North Queens Ferry. Sadly I didn't have time, but I will come back I spring. Interesting place!😊 Sorry...what was the train station?
