hello sir. For functions ive seen in recent papers questions like. f(x)=2^x find f^-1(x) How do we do this , this requires logarithims.

Logs are just the reverse of raising to a power, so the inverse here is just log x base 2 🙂👍

to do f inverse what i found that helps is putting y=2^x and then after u moved everything to the side which y is (except for x) u replace y with x it makes it very simple

Hi Min, hopefully I can answer your questions 🙂: 1. Usually they prompt you with the formula to be used... but they are all on the formula sheet as well. 2. No specific tips aside from practice plenty of those kinds of questions! 3. Always practise the most up-to-date papers - the 2020 and 2021 ones should be a priority! 4. I think building your confidence with the easy questions first is helpful but that is my personal opinion... 5. DIfferentiation and the complicated Volume and Similariy questions from my experience. 6. Lol no specific traps 😂

Tracing paper should always be made available to you 👍 You can use matrix transformations but go beyond the scope of the course...
