Quick Gino contest story. Vanvouver Slam City Jam, they set up a wooden skatepark outside the event for the smaller kids to skate on before the finals. Everyone went into the coliseum when the contest started, but I stayed outside. I watched Gino (he was alone and with a cast on) hopping on switch back tails on the wooden handrail. He was in a zone and I watched in awe. Gino popping over and over into a switch back tail. I've seen a lot of pros over the years (VanCity) but that memory is forever. Props Gino. And Props Nine Club, you guys are making history.

Rad episode. Gino is an all time favorite. I still watch his 'Snuff' part regularly. I'd love to know more about everything that went into that part even though I know most of it was filmed before he got on 101. Regardless it was cool how much info you got out of him. A whole hour with Gino is priceless. Can't wait for Guy's interview.

now that almost everyone can do the most hardest trick, i still look up to the people like Gino who has "it" which is very rare to skaters. they have that charisma.. like Dylan, Reynolds ,MJ, Carroll, Koston, Guy, Dill, AVE, Olson and some more unique individuals that make you feel excited just seeing them even with a small clip. Great episode. All through the 90s and up to probably hot chocolate I thought his name started with an L which seems hilarious now. I like the brad hayes discussion and I find it funny whenever chris brings up robbie mckinley because they've always reminded me of each other for some reason. Chris is like the robbie that didn't disappear. Since Guy was on set I'm hoping this means he'll have one of the next episodes.

YES! Thank you, Rog! As a New Yorker, meaning I'm from the State of New York, I wish people would get it right. If you are talking about one of the five boroughs, great, ya say/write New York City. If you are talking about going to Buffalo or Utica or Albany or Islip...you say/write New York, since those are places in the State of New York. It's extremely irritating when non-New Yorkers say, "Oh yeah, and then I moved to New York" when you KNOW they mean Brooklyn or Queens (not Staten Island, as you're only born there, nobody moves there...) Nobody says, "Oh yeah, and then I moved to California." Nah, they say I moved to LA or San Francisco or San Diego. Glad Rog pointed this out! New York is a state, containing New York City, with Long Island sticking out into the Atlantic Ocean. If people now get to choose their personal pronouns (which I'm fine with!), New Yorkers get to tell everyone else that New York City is a city, and New York is a state.

Utilize the advantage of having a visual medium to work with, it'd give people a reason to watch as it'd be something different from what you offer with the podcast.
