Que genial que documentaran el Backstage de Gino en México. Es toda una personalidad, un poco introvertido pero a la vez un Showman. En lo musical, es uno de mis héroes. Su música, su genialidad, sus composiciones, los arreglos, la calidad de sus músicos y su voz son alucinantes. Lo que lamento es que no ha tenido el suficiente reconocimiento mundial por su música, de hecho no tiene ningún Grammy a su favor, solo nominaciones, cuando debió haber ganado docenas de este premio porque se lo merece. Para mi, Gino es el mejor en su estilo.

La verdad es qué sí tenía músicos de primer nivel, sobre todo en «Gente Poderosa» y «Tormenta al Amanecer». De ahí salieron Graham Lear y Richard Baker, qué serían músicos de Santana en los 80.

Gino es demasiado para la simpleza mental de la mayoría de los habitantes de éste mundo, su talento es algo sofisticado y singular, es obvio que jamás iba a ganar un Grammy, esos son premios para tipos como Bad Bunny.

Me emociona mucho ver estos vídeos, yo tuve mi primer disco LP de Gino cuando estaba en la preparatoria en el año 1976 era la novedad, no podías conseguir sus discos, solo en liverpool volaban cuando llegaban a México y me emociona verlo y oírlo, siempre lo he seguido y merece premios por sus canciones, tambien me encantó su cancion con Mijares cantando en español, espero regrese pronto a México, sigue igual de guapo!!!

Always adored the full orchestral of many of his works. Was absolutely awed with his work with his brother on Earth Wind & Fire's work "You Went Away" on their Faces LP back in the 80's. The music was so great back then.

I must admit when I was young I had an intense crush with Gino Vannelli. He seemed to be a perfect human being in my opinion: very good looking, very handsome guy, very talented, his voice is just so addicting for me. He made me realize I'm gay. I was hopelessly in love with him and I'm not ashamed of it... 💕 But when I found out he's straight, it just broke my heart 💔😓It hurts to be in love, but I'm truly happy for him and his family.

@@etbanfreeman8355 I’ve been a huge fan since 1974. I was 18 then. Saw him in Los Angeles. You did a really nice behind the scenes film. I loved seeing him play the Timbales. He actually began his music journey on Drums. Again great work. I’m sure he would really like this. And nice you showed Ross his brother working production.

I went to Montreal in 1975 I was a drummer full of dreams but getting tired of the music scene BUT then I heard Where am I going from Gino and it made me stay in Montreal looking for musicians who worked with him or knew him a musical prodigy is what I thought of him writing songs so profound he was younger than me I was amazed at that time I started playing his songs and remember telling my american audiences about him well he's finally made it internationally so happy for him
