I met Gino at a gig he did in Berkeley, CA back in 1969 or so. I went backstage and talked to him. He invited me to an after party, but I had to decline because I was only 17 years old and I told him I had to get home. I still kick myself to this day some 55 years later!

I have followed Gino’s career since the early ‘70s. Saw him in concert in Norfolk, Virginia and I fell in love with his lyrics, incredible voice, showmanship, and love ❤️ for his fans. My heart 💜 melted for him upon the death of his beloved Patricia. I , too, could walk in his shoes after losing my beloved husband Steve after 26 years of almost perfect marital bliss. I lost Steve in 2015 quite suddenly. Nothing in life ever prepared me for becoming a widow at 62. I was truly devastated 😢. So, Gino, when I say that you have set the bar so high for other men, my feelings for you and your incredible music has never changed.
