I first heard Gino live at Lisner Auditorium in DC in 1977 and there was a pathetic turnout of about 40 people. However, Gino and his band gave a 200% performance and to this day, it was the best concert I've ever heard.

I also saw him in 77 in San Jose CA. The place was empty and he performed like the house was packed One of the best shows I've ever seen The man is sooooo underrated .

@@tomelizalde7838 That is so true! I still consider 1977 as being roughly when the music scene began to change for the worse in many respects. Airplay for the truly gifted recording artists like Gino became accessible only through college and university FM radio while mediocrity ruled the commercial airwaves. AM radio has since been a total wasteland.

@@tomelizalde7838 I would have NEVER imagined that Gino, whose music was relatively 'commercial' in 1977, ever played for an empty room. Outrageous. Sad.

I was introduced to Gino's music by a very special girl friend when I was attending college in the early 80's. One of the greatest gifts anyone every gave me and I have enjoyed my whole life. Thank you Cheryl...and thank you Gino for all the wonderful music and performances you keep giving us!

I’ve been a big Gino fan since 1979 B2B tour. Saw him live then. Fantastic! Saw him 5 years ago here in Dallas. The guy is aging amazingly well. It doesn’t sound like he’s lowering the tones down much. And I love that he’s been married to the same woman for 40some years. He’s a normal guy. He’s the soundtrack of my 1970s. Thanks Gino for such great music.

The first concert I went to was Gino Vannelli's "Storm at Sunup" tour, where he played this song. I was 15 years old. Great to see and hear him with still the amazing voice he had, way back then.

I appreciate the art of reinventing a previously recorded tune, but there is nothing like the original. I have all of his music even from EU and other places, but I'd really like 2 hear new music and especially with the flavor of his earlier work that was unmistakeable Gino.........
