Can you believe this song was released in 1974? Way ahead of its time. Gino and Joe were a great brother team.

I got to see Gino at the Hollywood Palladium in 1977, right after "Gist of the Gemini" was released. He had HUGE hair then, and really had some "moves", for sure. His back up band was first rate. His Brother, Joe, was on keyboards then. It's amazing to hear how he can still sound as good as he did 50 years ago! In fact, I think he sounds better. He's more laid back now, and seems to be really comfortable with himself, and his band is over-the-top, and off the charts great! This is about as perfect a live performance can get, here. I don't think many would argue with that!

I just saw Gino Vannelli in concert on Sept 2, 2023. He was GREAT!!! It was a very memorable and wonderful concert! Thank you Gino - you are the BEST!! His voice is STILL incredible and his backup band is fantastic. SO GOOD!! We had a great time. He is so worth seeing if you were or still are a fan of Gino's!! We saw him in a small venue and when the encore came we were "invited" to come up close to the stage! That was such a treat!

I was always wondering why Gino Vannelli is not popular in Australia, when I found that he is Canadian the answer was clear...somehow in Australia somebody was "blocking" Canadian music. Rush, Saga , Gino Vanelli were not on music shelfs . When I arrived many years ago from Europe I found difference in music market. Not only Canadian music, many Australian bands is more popular overseas than in Australia... In present days we can find everything thanks internet but not everyone know how and where to find good music. Thanks for this video
