He played in an exhibition game. They were playing against one of PHH Preps teams, which is a high school program. Smaller colleges do these exhibition games vs post grads and prep schools all the time.

You can be any age and play college ball has long has you have the elgibility. There have been 30-50 year old college athletes

But the NCAA has minimum academic eligibility requirements (like credits, gpa and sat/act score minimums). Not that those requirements are hard, but i dont think the nccaa is regulated like that-making it easier for these “high school athlete influencers” who probably didnt meet those ncaa requirements to play “college sports”
