Some turns are downgraded (Memmel and wolf turn). She follows Nina's lead and comes back with 2 passes.

@@NducciaTube I understand and it's a smart decision. She doesn't need to risk anything for acro difficulty, when acro difficulty is less important than past quads.

Unfortunately if she remains inconsistent on beam, I don't see her going to Paris. Italy can't afford to have two gymnasts who are specialists on Bars. Either she or Elisa will make it. Right now I think Elisa has a better chance.

Her bars can be used together with Elisa and Alice. Manila’s Nabieva is still at risk of being downgraded if she pikes down. But if Alice continues to struggle with the landings, Italy will take Martina over Giorgia Villa.

It was said a few weeks ago that Elisa has brought back her DTY, so if it's real then she's making a very strong case for herself.

@@cocoroni1031 Martina so far hasn't done floor exercise this year and her UB is super inconsistent (2022 WC TF 2024 Doha qualification and final six day 1 she hit 0 routine). I don't think Martina can contribute on bars. It would be too risky to put her on bars in TF. If we consider her VT, BB and potential FX, I would prefer Angela who has shown consistency on VT and FX this year. BB is unpredictable but Angela has a higher difficulty level (5.9 versus 5.3)

@@gaodrob7938 From the video of her DTY training and her FTY in Euro QF, I am not that hopeful. If she has a DTY in July, then for sure she can go (VT+UB and the fourth person on BB and FX)

@@lisabrina4867 Yes, I won't put her on bars. But there is still one open spot if Alice is not ready on floor. Martina can be used on vault and floor if Venessa hasn't recovered her Tokyo routines.

What's even the need to do Round Off+Tuck Back 1/1 as a pass ? Tuck Full is only a B skill... She's losing way more in execution than what she earns in difficulty ! They are definitely not smart.

She doesn't have deduction on the B skill if she sticks.

@@cocoroni1031 Her Tuck shape is too opened which is a deduction, she lands with her feet apart which is a deduction, and judges can also deduct her for a step since she moved her left foot. She probably lost 0.3 alone for this B skill, and when was the time she actually stuck it ? Out of the very few times she competed on Floor recently she hasn't even able to stick it cold once, it was obviously not a stick here too.

@@gaodrob7938 Judges don't deduct for that tuck shape with twist. The deduction only applies to tuck without twist according to the COP. Also, she doesn't land apart (only applied for shoulder width). There is a myth about acrobatic deduction, when in reality, the judges are extremely brutal on dance elements instead. That's why floor score is lower across the board when gymnasts do 5 dance elements instead of 4 acro lines but clean form, clean landings.

@@cocoroni1031 Oh yes I forgot that acro skills with twist are not deducted... But one thing that I don't understand is gymnasts are deducted when they land their dance skills with feet apart but the rule seems different with acro skills, right ? Omg the Cop has become such a circus.

⁠@@gaodrob7938I think they can in both cases end with feet a little apart. It’s safer and better for the knees. It also gives more stability. At least that’s what my coach told me when I was younger
