Sadly to get varified is super hard.. No matter if you follow their guidlines and gifs are better than some others, they can still not varify you.

I encountered the same issue. I followed the requirements and I received a response that my application was "ineligible". I wonder why that is. I'm wondering if you have to have a large following? Yet - I've seen some smaller artist you tubers still get verified.....I did email them to see if they could further elaborate and offer suggestions and an opportunity to resubmit. It's sad but I guess possibly they want people to follow on the Giphy site to be able to use the content vs. just being able to search through the instagram interface? Who knows, kind of frustrated about it, but understand it's their decisions. Just would like more clarity on reasoning behind ineligibility. I'll keep ya'll posted on if I get a reply.

I received a response from GIPHY - they stated that their artist directory is limited which is why they they won’t approve everyone...I’m assuming it’s based on what they’re looking for...but keep in mind you don’t need approval to get your gif into your instastory __ it’s really only f you want your artwork found. Which I’m sure most of us artists would like that.

@@zsmichl0 Unfortunately - I did not, and they never replied as to whether or not we could resubmit in the future :( BUT - What I am doing is making sure when ever I use my gifs -- I share my giphy link with them - so people can still access them - like this: giphy.com/channel/JenniferLezan I don't think there is a way to follow people on their giphy channel, but at least people know they can find the links on my social media etc. -- hope this helps you some!

Hi! I have watched both of your gif videos, they’re great! I am having trouble uploading from Procreate to GIPHY. On procreate, I uncheck the background and then export as the animated gif with the transparent background option clicked on. Once on the GIPHY app, it adds a black background to my gifs. Hi Mac ! Firstly Amazing video! So easy and accurate. I do have a question though everytime i upload the gif it stretches while it uploads on the story. And if i choose the web ready option to export it from procreate the quality goes really bad but it doesnt stretch. Any idea about this? Thanks !!

Any idea on why you don't have the Blue Checkmark ? Also, do you have the option to allow that "Hire Me" option they have nowadays ? I'm also verified, but I don't have... But you have like 3B views, while I'm close to 1M, and I just saw someone with less than 100 who's verified and has the Hire Me option

Its so vague... we now also again got this "your not elgible" and "its not within our policy", asked again to show that policy and what section?! We did everything right now? We are an event company which heolds parties with international deejays. We thought perhaps its to commercial?! Ilobemycarats.slipintothediamondlife make sure to fill out every section in your bio/account page & upload 5-7 original gifs! if you’re still running into problems, double check giphy’s best practices page 🤗 they’ve got tons of info and FAQs to help you troubleshoot!! hope that helps!

Sierra P so strange! I would try resetting your password or emailing giphy - they’re usually good about answering questions!

@@MacFord okk...so i have tried resetting my password...and it showed that my account in giphy doesn't exist at all....so I opened it once again...now it's working fine...i hope that giphy doesn't delete my act once again...btw it was really strange..I mean I created 5 gifs...and uploaded it...i could get nothing now...so once again I had to make all my gifs :'(

PRNM Freehand thank you! ✨ accounts on giphy don’t make any money per views, as far as I know. however, companies can commission artists separately to create custom branded GIFs, which is what I do now! 🤗 so you can still use this skill to create some income!
