I agree a speed build seems to work best with Siegfried. Great pushing ship and if you angle correctly and limit targets shooting at you, it's a great ship. Can't wait to take the helm of Agir

KMS Ägir (A-gear), together with her Tier 7 sister ship, KMS Siegfried, are two of the planned O-class battlecruisers developed in Germany in 1937. As a result of Germany studying the buildup of ships from Britain and France, the Oberkommando der Marine (OKM) directed its focus to reinforce their navy with new ships. They were intended to be a further development of the Deutschland-class "pocket battleships," but faster and equipped with a larger gun caliber. These ships were primarily designed to operate against convoys, which would have forced Britain and its allies to use their capital ships to protect them. The Germans believed that this outcome would critically dissipate the Royal Navy's striking capability, which also means more fuel consumption and more convoy reinforcement assignments for the Royal Navy capital ships. The efforts of the German engineers resulted in the project of a battlecruiser nicknamed the "O-class," which counted 380 mm main guns and a maximum speed of 34 knots as its primary advantages. The project was finalized by September 1939, but the cruisers were never actually built due to lack of resources and other priorities in shipbuilding construction. Fun fact: Ägir, according to Norse mythology records, is a Jötunn (giant)they are often contrasted with gods (Æsir and Vanir) and other non-human figures, such as dwarfs and elves, although the groupings are not always mutually exclusive. In the case of Ägir, she is named after the Norse giant of the seas.He was both worshipped and feared by sailors, for they believed that Aegir would occasionally appear on the surface to take ships, men and cargo alike, with him to his hall at the bottom of the ocean. Sacrifices were made to appease him, particularly prisoners before setting sail. The only ship that is named Ägir is the Imperial Germany Navy’s Odin-class coastal defense ship, which is Odin’s sister ship during WW1.

On my agir build i went with Azur lane Grad Spee with Al Neptune and Yamamoto as inspirations going with the skills of beyond range, ghost, punch through, and fixated with refill station legendary perk. I for the modifications I went with aim mod 1 ruddershift, concealment mod, and fire control mod 1 for the range and even more accuracy because some shells can ne really trolly.

Still a fairly decent game. Wish we had this one in the last arena. would have been a lot more helpfull over the other two. I love the Odin and i think this will feel like kinda Odin got some secondaries...Looking forward to the end of the third week (i hope).

One point that has not been passed on from Siegfried is the placement of the torps. They are much more exposed on Agir. Higher probability to be knocked out.

Agir doesn't seems bad, but she clearly didn't come at the best moment, should have been Carnot, to have a great update with a ship we don't care about, but with everything good we got it would have been overshadowed Can't wait to see a Petro and Lepanto video, Flandre with the buff hasn't evolved from a donkey to a horse, its better imo but the pen of the 100mm is unusable on something that isn't a DD, fire chance is RnG personified, i had a witherer with ~1 fire per 30 hits, and had games with 4 fires on 200 hits, hybrid Dunkerque build is, imo, the only viable way to use the secondaries, i wonder if IFHE would make it that much better, thing would shred superstructures and cruisers with 25mm pen

I’m a free to play player and don’t get much gold so I have to spend it wisely. I have enough gold for one admiralty backing but not sure if this is a good buy. The Last ship I got was the Musashi and have been saving since then. It’s hard to know when your not sure what the next ship will be. What do you folk think?

I went ahead and got this ship but mostly because I wanted to build up steel. I cant lie, i decided to try a secondary build. The guns reach is on par with the german battlecruisers. I cant really speak on the damage because i died to fast lol. It just isnt tough enough to get in close and I ended up building similarly to you. I knew that would be the end result when i started, but it sounded fun.

Wargaming needs to add the statistics of rank-in-team i.e. 1 of 9, 3 of 9, 5 of 6, etc. This statistic would be a better indication of a players performance than win rate. I've recommended this to Wargaming. Please recommend also if you think it's a good idea.
