Fascinating. That thing did not do what it was supposed to 99,9% of the time, made her almost go nuts, probably ate a whole lot of materials and much time to work on for just a few seconds of intended behavior. Still it probably was the most useful thing she ever built.

There may be a light inside the bot for ease of access, for such occasions. Remotely sensor ed as well. However, if we're talking about aesthetics I wouldn't mind it, for it was overshadowed by a greater beauty in the end.
