My grandma was 120 when she died this year due to covid. We didnt have any birth certificate to claim a record and all. She was so old that me my dad and my grandad (while he was alive) all used to call her grandma only, rather than great great... who knows how many greats before grandma. Lol She was there when gandhi returned to india for the first time after his popular movement in south africa. She saw him for real. Her son is still with us and he is currently 95 or 97 I think.

The girl and the boy both are from a different parallel universe. But their timeline is opposite of each other. when he was 5, she was 30. It's not like she age backwards. She age like us its just her timeline and the boy is not moving in the same direction. In every 5 years their timeline meet. Example, B=5 G=35, B=10 G=30, B=15 G=25, B=20 G=20 ( this is where they met).

This movie is heartbreaking af, also notice when the Emi's secret was revealed most viewers were focused on understanding the confusing timeline the what, how, when. just like Takatoshi is, for a moment we along with the main guy was confused af and no longer focusing on the situation that they only have limited time together and that every emotion that Emi shows is genuine and she's not just playing along. Can't imagine the regret that Takatoshi felt for getting mad at Emi during that 1 day, so much time lost

I doubt it. With Benjamin Button he had a disease that let him age backward but with this movie, I don't think she ages backward at all. It just that we are seeing her from the male lead's perspective. If she's from a parallel time, she is raised by her own parents, it just that during a specific month they are able to see each other. She disappears at midnight cause their universe are no longer on the same path. It must look like he is aging backward to her too but clearly he does not. She also made the effort to write down what they did together. As she did not start writing her own thoughts down from her first meeting with him in that room to the end at the train station, but used his meeting of her, is why the dates are backward.

But I realize its not in reverse for her either. She is born young and dies old.....we even see that when she wrote in her diary it wasn't even that she had entries in their from her older self. It was completely blank as she has never experienced any of that. She had him tell her all the things they did together. That was how she was able to meet him at the zoo. While at that point it was her last days with him and his earlier days with her, it was still their first meeting at the zoo. She didn't know to meet him there because her older self had already met him there (no older self existed as she ages as normal) but because his older self (days older but you get what i mean) told her he met up with her there, when she was younger (a few days younger at her first time meeting him). So she actually sees him aging backward but the difference is, she became aware of the time difference from her first meeting of him and he found out more the days leading up to his final meeting of her (when they were the same age that is). Even the other diary entries she had, she wrote things in there at 15 from what he told her when he was 25. She most likely needed to update it as there are things about their time together that a 25 year old man couldn't discuss with a 15 year old girl.

This is rather like that episode of Sliders where they slide to a parallel world where time goes in the other direction, but it's forwards for periods of a few minutes at a time. As opposed to the Red Dwarf episode where they go to the parallel world where time goes in the other direction, but it's completely backwards at every moment, so they are surrounded by people who talk backwards and regurgitate liquid into cups instead of drinking.

Yup. And only happen in the eastern world. Western romance story is all about segs or at least kiss😒. It's not love. It's lust... True love is not about having segs or a kiss.
