What I really want us to talk about is how much of a broken society we are. There are broken people breaking other people. I hate what happened to those women but what scares me is what led them into that situation. What can we do to help people overcome their insecurities and weaknesses so that monsters don't prey on them. But also it seems that the perpetrators are broken people as well who deal with their pain in negative ways. And thereafter find people who suffer from low self-esteem, self doubt etc and they capitalise on that to make themselves feel better i guess. Coz really, whats the use of me trying to protect myself when the perpetrator is not willing to change? This issue us very sensitive and COMPLEX because we're dealing with people. Human behaviour is very complex...

How is it the police's fault if those cases were settled? Somebody (i.e. the victim and/or their parents) has to accuse/press charges and then continue on with the case and see it through to completion - even if he was guilty, all those women in those four cases and their reps agreed to settle and sweep it under the rug... And btw it's not a community or anyone's responsibility to instill value of yourself in you (unless your a minor - then it's your parents responsibility), that's why it's called SELF-worth.

Obviously he should of been arrested YEARS ago but he wasn’t and unfortunately he did keep making music and keep writing music for others and we can’t do anything about that anymore. But the point is that when you listen to songs he sang and performed you are adding to his fund and his popularity because nobody is knows or is talking about ALL the songs he wrote for others but we can take the first steps and mute him COMPLETELY.

Brad Priest @Brad I thought just as you did. However, what people are also missing as yourself is that while those “Great” hits were being made those victims were there in his house, in his studio, not eating being disrespected. For example, he wrote the lyrics to Aaliyah’s song titled “Age ain’t nothing but a number” while she was under aged. Now who wants to sing that fucking song. ... Also, stop asking where were those kids parents everyone’s parents are not always the best. This man is the topic deal with the dumb ass parents later. He still prayed on weaker kids and got away with it. Maybe you have deep rotted issues as well and need to watch the documentary of how real this actually is. .... MUTE R KELLY. .

I’m pretty sure you got some skeletons (not quite as such) but people and the media invest too much time in other people lives. If they going to convict him, convict him. He’s still a music legend. My prom was many years ago, and I remember girls wearing similar reveling dresses.
@Elizabeth-cj8cn4 жыл бұрын
I’m currently a HS senior but I feel like it’s too revealing for that age, I remember being 16 and feeling like I was grown and I could wear whatever. Two years later and I realize that it’s inappropriate to wear stuff like that at that age, especially for a school event like prom or whatever it is.

I'm not muting R Kelly.. Why they didn't try 2 mute him years ago. So much contradiction with Kell case. And y'all had the 💰 chasing families on the show. I'm riding with Kelly music all-day.

I didn’t like what Jeannie said about watching the video, Isn’t looking up a video of a grown man sexually assaulting a young girl also wrong? Loni has to stop all these, ’’in the black community’’ comments.
@antoniabowen34544 жыл бұрын
But it’s true, some black people do say that it was the girls fault that it happened to them or they wanted it to happen. They say those things because R Kelly is a black man and they think because he’s not only famous, but black also, he needs to be protected because black man are always being falsely accused of something and he can’t do no wrong.
