It is EXTREMELY important to remember this is an adaptation that took a LOT of liberty in the writing, also the family never recieved any royalties for this show. Fun fact: Although the show was inaccurate and cheated her out of money, Gypsy actually complimented the actors of the show. If you treat The Act as a fictional show, then yes, it's a great show with good writing and acting. But don't base your opinion of the Truth on something trying to maximize money 🤑
