All you ladies have the potential to find a man get married and raise a family. While being aware of the red flags is ok, you have to really be focused on the green flags. You never have to apologize when setting a boundary. We can apologize when we are wrong, when we have made a mistake we can apologize when we have hurt someone's feelings. But you don't apologize for setting your boundaries. You don't apologize for stating and saying your needs.

I lost a friendship of 12 years in February, because i finally started setting boundaries. The year leading up to the cut off, I started saying no more, started letting that person know i wasn’t available for them to hang out with or call 24/7. They couldn’t call me in the middle of class/work unless it was an emergency. They couldn’t come over to my house and let themselves in when i wasn’t home. They couldn’t make jokes at my expense, especially ones they know are sensitive topics (like my insecurities). The moment I started putting in these boundaries, the friendship fell apart. Finally they blew up on me, and my final boundary was we can continue this friendship when they apologise for what they’ve done. Now, 8 months later, I still haven’t heard from them. This was a really hard lesson to learn, but BOUNDARIES ARE IMPORTANT!! Love you Breeny~~ I’m so thankful for all your videos, you have been a positive influence on my life since i started listening 3 years ago!!

I find set boundaries with family members is the hardest thing ever. Like your family can literally become your worst nightmare they believe that they are entitled to everything your own and to your own money and because you feel like they’re your family and you love them you don’t want to hurt them so just let them walk all over you but when is enough enough.

I met a guy on Sunday night and he was really psychically attractive. We went to his hotel reception for a chat where it was more quiet, and while I was talking he would rudely interrupt me saying " listen to me" i found it really rude and I corrected him once not to do it again. But he did it again. I decided to block him after I went home. It was tough but I don't get turned on by men who disrespect me like that. If he violated a verbal boundary on the first meeting. It would only get worse. I'm proud of myself 💯

Even though he lives with his mom and doesn't have any diploma whatsoever. When I address his bullying he says "it's just a joke, why am I being so sensitive". It's weird. In the past when we were a thing I didn't notice he was treating me like this to keep my self confidence low so I would stay with him. I have cut the contact again since two days because I noticed my self confidence got low and I was relying on him again. Sometimes I do miss him but I'm staying strong.

I really struggle setting boundaries with people at work. Behind that there is this unrealistic fear of loosing my job, even when I know I’m so damn good at what I do. I suspect this is due to my circumstances… I don’t have any family in the UK, I got divorced from a 7 years marriage with a guy who came to London with me (both very young at the time), nearly an year after I got into a relationship that is verbally and emotionally abusive (currently in it) and trying every day to set the biggest boundary of my life which is getting this guy out of my life. I’m about to start a full time masters degree in September and I’ve been preparing financially for the last couple of years to support myself as a student, since I won’t be able to keep the job due to the demands of the course.. I feel scared of the unknown and scared of going back to uni after working for 5 years, getting used to a comfortable job and salary. And knowing I will be single again just adds to the fear. My spirit is telling me this is how it is supposed to be. I’m ready but I’m not ready. I’ve just turned 30 and I feel like I’m going through something I should have already overcame years ago. Thank you for your inspiring videos. You are truly beautiful. Your videos help putting some sense in my head. God bless x

Last time I watched your videos it was late April this year, I was in the hospital after hurting myself & having problems with my now ex. You have me so much insight that night and I knew I was gonna leave him. Very abusive and manipulative, haven’t been the same since & have definitely made more boundaries. Your word helps so much it inspires me to speak up.

I sometimes struggle to set boundaries because I have been told I am mean or harsh for saying no. Looking forward, I think it's how I set my boundaries that matters, but I know there will always be people upset about me choosing myself first.

I dream of the day that all women understand that: 1. Their MENTAL HEALTH is the most important thing, it comes before anything/anyone outside of themselves 2. LOVE/CARE comes from RESPECT. 3. Treat all relationships the same (have the same expectations/standards across), platonic, romantic including marriage, work, casual etc.

If you look at it ,the reason why men win is because they value respect .it is something that they will fight for , self respect is very important. Most ladies don’t bother no wonder people take advantage of them. I thank God for your life sis🙏🏼 more grace. together we can correct the the error that our forefathers did by teaching the young people the right way to gain respect ✊🏽 the bible in the book of judges stated that the children of Israel lost track after the death of Joshua because there was no leader to teach them the ways of God. They found themselves loosing many battle and compromising with idol worshipers they served their gods rather than the God of their fathers who took them out of the land of Egypt. Is it not similar to this generation? God help us and our young people . Thank you 🙏🏼❤️❤️

I love it! And its so true, especially the part about walking away. And its applicaboe in every area. I was in a toxic work environment with an old white male boss who thought he could disrespect and harass me so I left and made it clear I would never tolerate that bullshit. And in doing so set an example for my other female co worker who was right behind me. Thanks for all the amaxing wisdom and content you put out here

I love your videos, and honestly i've been following your advice for both friendships & relationships which has been very helpful. But, an old situationship is kind of blurring the boundaries I set that just came back up. I thought it would be different since I left months ago. It's actually kind of awkward now that I set boundaries and more annoying than ever i'm ready to hit the block button for good this time.

Wonderful motivational speaker and gorgeous too! Grateful for the reminder. I just learned how to set boundaries when I left my ex a year ago who has NPD tendencies. It was difficult at first but oh so worth it. Even with a custody agreement, my boundaries prevent him from abusing me the way he did in the past. Remember to stand up for yourself, you are the most important person in your life❤️

A so called “friend” asked me for something and I told them no, like I actually said “No”and gave no explanation why, so I haven’t heard from them in about a month, not a text or a phone call and when I see them in public they act like they don’t want to give me the time of day, it hurts sometimes but I rather say no out of respect for myself stand my ground then to say yes and get walked all over. Ppl really do show you their true self when you start saying no and enforcing standards and boundaries

Hi Breen Lee, i don't know if you're going to see this but i just wanted to thank you, you're really helping us by talking and giving us advice abt these topics, l'm just a 15 year old girl, i watched one of your videos abt toxic mothers a while ago maybe a year or more and i really like it but i don't know why the hell i didn't follow you, and jus a week ago i searched about this topic again since i felt overwhelmed again because of the environment where i live, i really want to set boundaries, make healthy relationships and learn how to say no, i was a second option most of my life, people only using me and i don't know how to say no, yet i have a healthy mindset, i've never felt sad about my appearance or cared about other opinions about me, l'm starting high school this year and your videos are really helping me, i'ma be a badass b starting from now aand THANK YOU AGAIN ❤️

I needed this. A few days ago I stood up to a guy I’ve been talking to for disrespecting me and now he’s gone ghost. I’ve been feeling like maybe I was asking for too much. But no, all I asked for was respect. I set the boundary and he took off. Good riddance I guess.
