Hollup they learn these things,in HIGHSCHOOL??? I learned every thing literally everything about the human body,and the reproductive system in grade 5,that includes the RDS of animals,and plants,also,tha subject is health?we learned it in science,at least here in the phillipines,in health class we only learn how to take care of our bodies and diseases and such,the Body parts are learned in science,ive been watching this thing for about a hundred times and always taught it was funny,only noticed now😱

Back in the 80s, it was 7th grade in the New England area... but Health was about fitness, nutrition, drugs, STD's, and human reproduction. Having teachers do the birds and the bees talk was very controversial at the time... and you had to get signed permission slips to take the class.

The class also teaches about fitness and nutrition... which is too soft of a science for most "science" teachers. Also, how to say this gently... *shrugs* It takes a somewhat nerdy person to teach "science" and a good number of them wouldn't feel comfortable with teaching kids about STD's or the birds and the bees.

@@davidsloat1016 In Germany, our Biology teachers do that. Older students can also choose nutritional biology and human science in which they probably teach this (I wouldn't know. I choose only Physics as my only additional natural science class.)

Imagine having your father give you a talk about STD's or the birds and the bees... and then realize that he'd probably hate it way more than that. No father ever wants to think of his little girl getting to "that age"... even though, it's got to happen and things can get way better than they were.

@@davidsloat1016 I’m confused. I was making a joke, but like sex Ed Is really important and if your not able to have a serious talk with any of your children about it then that’s kind of worrisome. I think there’s so much stigma around all this stuff when, if it was just straight up talked about it would be so much less awkward. And kids would feel a lot more comfortable asking important questions. And if that makes whoever is sharing the information uncomfortable they should probably get their priorities in order.

@@christinamaxwell6222 I get what you're saying and you're not wrong. However, that's how male's were conditioned to be for generations. 1.) The talk to girls came from the mother... it was rarely discussed between husband/wife as to whether their talk had occurred. 2.) Father's were generally not very good at handling the talk with their sons. For example: Reference Bill Engvall's talk with his son after his wife mentions catching him watching porn on the computer. 3.) Heck, most men had/have problems taking about a woman's cycle, let alone buying pads for their girlfrinds/wives. I've never had an issue with it, (Hell, I can't count the number of O'Dark Thirty runs I've made in my life.) but I've heard from multiple women that I was more the exception than the rule.

@@davidsloat1016 Whether or not it is what’s happening in the world in today’s day and age, my point still stands as it is what I personally believe should be happening. I mean sure it can be difficult to try and rethink in a new perspective after having something semented in you your whole life, but I feel like that just comes with being self aware. I think that if you are a man and you really feel uncomfortable talking to your kids about this stuff then you either have to 1. Get your priorities straight or 2. Make sure they get taught everything they need to another way like maybe get someone else that your family trusts to teach them. Or help fight for school to have better teaching than this video. Hence my original comment. I hope that makes sense.
