About the people getting knocked out with a punch or kick to the chin: your chin is the tip of your jaw, and if you follow it back you'll reach the corner of your jaw, right under your ear. Right behind the corner of your jaw is the junction of three nerves. The one we're focusing on is called the vagus nerve. It's part of your parasympathetic nervous system and is responsible for regulating your heart beat and blood pressure. When you strike the chin the force can transmit up the bone and shock the nerve, over stimulating it. This results in your body being tricked into thinking your blood pressure is extremely, lethally high. It responds by lowering both your heart rate and blood pressure. This sudden drop in both heart rate and blood pressure can result in dizziness, nausea, and possibly loss of consciousness.

A lot of nerves in the chin. But i think the main reason is the leverage point of the chin and how it shakes the brain in your skull. The physical shock from that knocks you out most of the time

Hi buddy, actually when you DO get knocked out it doesnt hurt. You kinda just lose time and wake up somewhere else. Its kinda like teleportation. I meam yea after the fact the cuts bumps and bruises hurt but when youre in there youre so high on adrenaline it doesnt really phase you. Leg kicks and body shots though.... Jesus those csn hurt. One time i was sparring and got hit with a round kick to the floating rib and went down like a sack of bricks it hirt so bad and involentarily my vody just kind of collapsed. Fully coherent but my body just shut off

at this point a few of these guys had been knocked out a few times before this and repeated knockouts tend to make it easier to knock them out. Their brains just shut down from the repeated damage to the brain. Especially the guys in the heavier weight classes because of the power these guys have. Don't get me wrong these guys are beasts and can knock out any average joe with ease but against real competition you can see where its going a good example of this is recently James Vick who was just knocked out and his Doctors had to put him into a medically induced coma (was out for 2 days) from all the trauma to the brain he has received over the last 6 years ever since the Justin Gaethje fight back in 2018 he has never been the same since.

Ok so guy language after you knock someone out cold is simple: be proud but act like you’ve done it before and it’s exactly what you planned to do. Be relaxed, check on your opponent if necessary and then shake hands and kiss babies. This is in a professional setting of course. If you do this to someone outside Rick’s Cabaret on Lundi Gras everything about how you act still applies but you get the fuck out of there before the cops show up.

I’ve been knocked out a couple of times. You don’t have to get hit that hard to get knocked out. Also, seeing those hits on screen doesn’t do them justice. When you see someone get hit In real life like that, you can hear the impact and it makes you cringe.
