Your comments about Ziyas playroom of less is more is spot on. My kids are adults now but when they were little, it was so easy to gift them lots of toys, as parents we want them to have things and be happy. However, looking back now I would have given them so much less. They really don’t need a lot, far less than what we think and they will survive. I can't even begin to imagine the frustration of seeing how your plants froze up. But when you said "don't even ask me about my damn jasmine star plants" I couldn't help but holler because I watched the vlogs of the lengthy process of finding those plants, figuring out how to space them,etc. Keep going girl always enjoy your content.

The smoke alarms could've possibly been carbon monoxide detectors, which is probably why u didn't smell smoke, yet all the alarms were going off. Also ur Mom n Dad should consider giving u an extra key to their home for emergency situations such as this.

But she found a way to make a mess even with limited toys. I can tell you about the smoke alarm situation because it happened at our house. At least one or more smoke detectors are past their life span of 10 years. The owner needs to replace the old smoke detectors to keep them from going off. Also, in case you have the same situation, you need to mark the month and year you replaced them on their label to know when it’s time to replace. Hope this is helpful for you and other homeowners!

I love what you said about the importance of the memories and not just the house. You will always have things because you are willing to do for others. It's crazy you have to deal with that weather in Texas. I live in New Jersey and we still haven't had a severe snow storm yet, which is highly unusual. In fact, we've had 60 degree days last week. Either way, stay warm and stay safe Raven. I love your content and you throw the best parties!

Another great video, Raven!! I recommend an Ember mug. Keeps your coffee the perfect temp forever. You bring up a great point about having people over and entertaining. I'm always anxious when it happens, but afterwards I'm grateful that I did. It's so fun having friends and family together to celebrate life. LOL @ "the chocolate recovery team". You should put that on your hoodie! If Ziya had a toy sale, I'm sure she'd sell out quickly. The ice pillow made me laugh entirely too hard for no reason LOL - Also that may have been a carbon monoxide detector going off? Not sure, but maybe? This was so interesting especially the ice-storm part. I live in Canada/Toronto and in all my life we have never had such bad ice-storm. Lots 😅and lots of snow. But we have only had about three not so bad ice-storms in my life of 50 years. I am shock about Texas I thought it was a sunny place. The girls party was beautiful. Very good of you giving your daughter homework. This does benefit them in the future. I did that with my kids. It turned out well.

Your breaker issue is like that in most kitchens. Try not to use your electrical items all at once in outlets that are close together, especially higher voltage items. That should help!
