Thats something that I wish everyone could experience if only once in their life. That moment after the motor is off and the wind is the only force you feel. The fire in your eyes was a sight to see. It brings back memories of those same feelings. You're so fortunate to have these videos to look back on. And we are, we get to watch you making memories.

While it’s clear no disrespect was intended, (in fact it was a compliment), I find these questions odd, as well as what appears to be utter fascination that she is so knowledgeable and confident. I would challenge you to ask yourself if you would ask a man in his 20’s these questions. I have no idea how old she is, but she is at minimum out of college age and it’s not uncommon for men to venture out on their own with confidence and knowledge at that age. When I sponsored a sailing camp for young kids and teens, there were many girls (age 8-13) that could teach the class and single hand their small boat. Lauren is young, but she is an adult with obvious experience. One does not embark on solo trip without experience. She is also a Caption and runs charters, which requires a min of 360 days sailing experience. It’s not hard to gain her level of knowledge at her age if you have desire and try.

After that he started hanging a towel off the sugar scoop and a very heavy length of line off of each side of his boat amidships. The next time the cat fell in she immediately found a piece of the heavy line and climbed aboard. Just something to consider. Thanks for the videos. Fair winds

Hi, o_~ Many years ago I was sailing on a big ocean going Dutch tugboat and we were called in to help a big passenger ship that ran aground on >> Mona Island...see 01:53 We tried to pull her off but she started to break down in two pieces ( she was already very damaged under the waterline because of the big swell on that reef she was lying on) So, then we were asked to take everything out of the shops and storage rooms and in to 12 meter long shipping containers >> all the bottles with alcohol and all the wines, also hundreds of cartons with cigarettes and many other expensive things. Then with the help of a helicopter we also emptied her fuel tanks in two ton containers that the helicopter flew back and forth to our boat, and we emptied them again in our tanks... they wanted no oil on the beaches. Mona Island was/is a protected nature preserve, Very big iguanas live there. For Months on end after that, I had expensive wines in my cabin on the tugboat, also a lot of bikini's!! that we've found in the shops of that ship. o_~ Those bikini's came in very handy, we gave them away trying to win over the hearths and minds of beautiful girls on the beach of Curaçao after we got back again to our homebase.
