How to get rid of acne: DRINK WATER THROUGHOUT THE DAY! Use cruety free or vegan products to ensure you are putting natural ingredients on your face. Good video. I am speaking from the perspective of a father of two daughters who recently just lost my oldest daughter. Birth control pills are not for everyone. The effects of the pill can range from nothing at all to death. In September of 2018, my 20 year old daughter passed away due to blood clots that were triggered by her use of a combination birth control pill. She was a junior in college and the only illness she had ever had was strep throat when she 3. The medical community will say that what happened to my daughter was extremely rare and that may be true. Nevertheless it did happen and it has happened to many other young women. Please exhaust all natural options before considering the birth control pill because it’s effects on a particular individual are virtually impossible to predict. Do not feel obligated to blindly accept the recommendations of your health care providers. Remember that it’s your health and possibly your life that’s at stake, not the pharmaceutical companies or the medical community. Please be careful, please be safe, and most of all please become informed.

When you have a bath during your period , the water doesn't turn red because the water's pressure pushes the blood backwards, but not to the point to where your blood is literally not coming out, but to where the flow isn't the heaviest but rather moves slowly.

apparently getting enough sleep makes your period easier. I figured this out just this summer cause I just finished my junior year and during that time I was getting so little sleep and I was constantly stressed which always made my periods come late and they’d be heavy and painful. but once I got on summer break and was sleeping the right amount and generally carefree my periods actually got lighter and my cramps weren’t as bad. I just thought that was really cool and I WISH I could be getting enough sleep during the school year

I have extremely dry skin + had acne in my 20s & 30s, not so much as a teen. I started taking BC late and it helped with it all. If I knew then, I would have been on BC much faster. I suffered, not only, with hormonal acne at a later age, but had bad period cramps and super heavy bleeding all throughout my teens (and I was quite regular).

If you are submerged in water, the pressure stops blood from coming out so it is sanitary although you may want to jump in the shower for a sec first for a quick rinse :)

I was on accutane my junior year of high school (currently a senior) and it was hell but totally worth it! Some side effects came right away and others slowly developed. I've been off accutane for a couple months now and I don't get break outs anymore which is such a blessing! I started getting acne in the 4th grade (yes, the 4th grade!) and each year it got worse. Nobody else in my class had acne for the longest time and it was uncomfortable. I started seeing a dermatologist my 7th grade year and after years of the treatments not making much improvement, we decided it was time. I'm so grateful my mom was supportive of it all cause it's very expensive and you have to really take care of yourself while on it.

months later, I'm commenting. On a personal note, when I had access to a bath tub, I'd rinse off in the shower (or using the shower function), then take the bath, especially while on my period. But from what I've seen as well, taking baths actually *gently* clean out your lady business, similar to the stereotype of what douching does, without being so harsh (as in literally having the water/vinegar douche system go up in).

Birth control changed my mood for the better. I've been on the pill for over 3 years. My periods would make me extremely angry and emotional. It was non stop and my periods made me miserable. So I got on the pill right before I turned 19 in order to stop my periods. I have not personally experienced any complications. I will say you will still have period symptoms even without a period. Sometimes I will get really sad, or my nipples will be tender for a week. Or I'll get cramps. But it's very seldom so it's not too much to worry about.

ALL MY ACNE BABIES OUT THERE! CUREOLGY (I think that’s how you spell it!) Also, CeraVe face wash is AMAZING for oily skin. It’s done me wonder works and I will tell my kids to use this when I actually have kids. And the CeraVe moisturizer is also super good and it has sunscreen in there which has SPF 30! Sunscreen is a must for acne, because it’s been shown in studies that the sun rays also make acne worse. So SPF 30 and above is what you need! Hope this helps!

I thought it would be so awkward talking to my mom about it, and it still kinda is but it’s not NEARLY as bad as I thought it would be. I suggest bringing it up with your mom, and then bringing it up with a doctor during a checkup! They’ll probably ask why you want it, and all you have to do is explain your situation!
