Also instant transmission is mis translated here. It isnt a matter of dematerializing and traveling only so fast. Goku finds a strong source of ki, and when he does, he teleports to them instantly. Hence the name.

Android arc is my second favorite after the Namek arc. Has so many Terminator vibes with Trunks sort of being like John Connor from the future coming back to stop the Terminator. Akira Toriyama was apparently a big fan of those movies and based Trunks and his arc on them.

My only problem with this setup was, the z fighters crew could have collected all the dragon balls within the 3 years time, wished for the dragon to either kill dr.gero, or tell them where his lab is. The android saga would have been avoided. But I also understand it's science fiction so I don't let it bother me as much!
