@@LunarKolony my brother played minecraft a lot but teaching him how to build was real pain. He never was so stupid. I played SE ~1k hours and he thought he knew the game better after 5 minutes of playing. He was forgetting about + blocks every 5 seconds. maybe I am a bad teacher...

that coop reminds me of my first rainworld coop attempt, where we forgot to turn on safezones... havent played an other video game with my friend since that. if you want to have a reccomendation for what type of video game your girlfriend will enjoy, even if she is not the typical gamer type, try out dont starve together.

Girl doesn't have to be so nervous. Gamers like girls/women regardless of how well they play. Especially girlfriends; if you're another gamer's girlfriend, you're an angel: a rare blessing to the dudes, and someone the other women don' t have to worry is going to turn weird on them. Plus nobody expects anyone to be expert in a singleplayer game the first time you play it. Maybe next time those grouped blocks can be spread out in separate control bars based on how they're grouped for scrolling so you can learn what is available and where to look for it when it's hidden inside a plus sign.
