I think the best thing about Rick De La Stick is that he doesn't overthink or overcomplicate training/diet unlike a lot of people do. It really is simple. You just need to train consistently (i.e. every day), eat A LOT, and have the MINDSET. Those 3 things are all you need to get THICC and BULBOUS (okay and maybe a shitload of coffee too). Gained 35lbs of muscle over the course of 5 years and my neck only budged by half an inch. Some people's neck can grow from indirect work like shrugs/rows/deadlifts but if that's not you then you should include direct neck work if you want it to grow.

you need horse mindset to activate the neck doing literally anything breathing pullovers always gave me nasty neck pumps I also have a cool trick that is taking your glasses and tilting the little adjustment thingys on each side of your nose down so if your head tilts down the glasses fall and you're forced to walk around with a straight neck

So just for clarification, on a heavy DL day, you’d then do some squat pattern pump work, and then on a heavy squat pattern day would you then do some hip hinge pump work? The upper day makes sense to me as there’s less involved in the opposite sets of muscles, but I suppose with lower body, there’s much more crossover between the anterior and posterior chain 🤔

Perhaps get an automod, or put the feelers out to see if anybody would like to mod for you (after a vetting process, of course). For my money, I would strongly suggest live-streaming on twitch instead, but you know your own know.

​@ericbugenhagenOfficial I heard a tidbit for shorts, could possibly apply to livestreams and what not but apparently the algorithm kills your shorts if you check the "notify subs" box and enough subs don't engage, which can be just bc of the amount of old subscribers and dead accounts. If you uncheck that box, it sends the vid only to non subscribers which ensures only live active users see it. I'd look into it to make sure that's legit tho

I think you should tell the youngster to prepare his oatmeal with a a scoop or two of whey protein isolate (or hydrolyzed)... The proteins found in Oatmeal aren't as high quality for building muscle. That having been said, a 20 something year old can get away with eating just about anything and still build muscle.

6:03 IMO, full body 3x/week is where it's at. When progression slows, you can switch to Heavy-Light and eventually Heavy-Medium-Light undulation as needed on a per-exercise basis

great advice, when i was 19 I read either in flex, muscle or muscle fitness magazine debate about having something to eat during your sleep, so set my alarm clock to go off around what 1:00, i would either have Joe Weider Mass Gainer (4000) with ice cream and 4 pints of milk or 2 two scoops of protein powder 1 pint with ice cream
