I’m so glad Andrew’s spidey is getting more recognition. I’ve been saying it since 2012 that he is the best and most accurate Spider-Man. It sucks it took over ten years for people to appreciate his version of Spider-Man… We missed out on his third movie. But… I’m glad people are still at least finally recognizing how amazing he was.

Andrew is my favourite and the best things I noticed in Andrew's among all the three Spidermen is that his comedic timing is *chefs kiss*, and perfectly represents Peter Parker's banter in the comics. He's Peter with a greater degree of control over his world, who wasn't just saving it but having fun doing it. Ten years on and his wit and physicality remains delightful to watch.

There was a deleted scene from this movie: when Peter was grieving on Gwen's grave, his father appears from behind and says that he had to keep this a secret that he's alive. Then they have a chat and his father says the "With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility" quote 🔥🔥🔥🔥

MJ was given a raw deal in those to be honest. Kirsten Dunst could've easily pulled off the comic version of her which is a better character than what we got in the movies. If you ask me, they should've had a woman come in and write her parts. Someone who was also a Spidey fan like Raimi.

Gwen's death is a CANON EVENT

As someone said, Peter and Gwen have such a sad fate and that is in any universe. Gwen’s death is canon unfortunately and it was the most impactful death in a superhero comic ever. In most superhero comics they always managed to save their loved ones. But in Spider-Man, Peter just could not save Gwen and that was a huge thing back in the day. The hero can’t always make the save and that is the reality tbh. It gave Peter more of an unhinged edge to me and he did go through a rough time. That’s how MJ came into the picture and became a budding love interest going forward in the comics. There was supposed to be TASM3 with a MJ and the continuation to what Harry was planning with Mr. Fiers at the end of this movie. Actually, they were going to introduce MJ in this movie played by Shailene Woodley. She even filmed some scenes with both Peter and Gwen. There were pictures and I’m pretty sure clips of scenes that they shot with MJ. However, they scrapped it all. I also feel that will be too much in one movie where there multiple side stories and characters. Plus we lost Gwen in such a heartbreaking way..how can they introduce MJ in such a sad time? You know?

It's fascinating and a welcome surprise realizing that, on the dual dynamics of love interest with the two Spidey film franchises thus far, that in the comics, BOTH Gwen Stacy and MJ existed alongside, and hence the upfront tease in the wild Spidey 3 (and nod to her dad, Captain Stacy) and now this inevitable canonical tragedy of the death of Gwen Stacy because of the canonical attack by the Green Goblin that, unless you've read or know about the comics overall, comes as a tragic unexpected shock! (Plus Gwen Stacy I only now recalled wears the very same colors, I think, of sinister green 💚 and purple 💜 that are the colors of the Green Goblin, similar to the comics. Essentially Peter Parker is kinda like Archie Andrews from the Riverdale comics with blond Betty and brunette Veronica, with best friend Jughead and rival friend Reggie Mantle. 🕷 🕸 💜 😢 🌌 (POSSIBLE SPOILER RECOMMENDATIONS) Would be Amazing to (SPOILER?) .... ... ... continue on the several ongoing franchises to do with Spidey including (SPOILER?)
