Hi Becky! This is Max and Masha :) We just watched the video and it's great! It was very nice to go this route with you. While watching, we were covered with memories of this race. The emotions of being on another planet that is so different from our everyday life. Communicating with riders from all over the world, admiring the magnificent views of rich nature, interacting with locals from a completely different culture and of course challenging yourself to overcome such a difficult route. Whatever this race costs , it's definitely worth it! I hope we'll see each other again in the vastness of the world and ride something just as cool side by side! You are very strong both physically and mentally. You passed a very serious test with a smile. And you motivate people to surpass themselves and become better. With good wishes from Moscow :)

Great job telling a dramatic and compelling story. Long distance touring teaches you a lot about yourself but when you are racing against a time limit you go through all the emotional highs and lows. All that alone time I find makes you appreciate the human interactions that you do run across. It seem most of the people you met along the route were very welcoming. They call them "trail angels" here in North America and it seems you met a few on this journey of a life time. I can't imagine it is easy to be film on top of everything else, having to set up a camera, riding by it and then coming back to get it. It takes time out your day and makes everything more complicated as you have to focus on when and where to shoot and finally getting "the shot". I bet you came back from this more confident and centered.
