From then to now it's been an absolute delight watching you grow as a person , seeing the ups and downs you've experienced along the way , I'd go as far as saying that your story should be shown in school's up and down the country ( UK ) and beyond to teach the children that there's more to life and it doesn't involve sitting staring at computer screens all day . Bravo and Congratulations on completing the latest challenge , haste yea back to Bonnie Scotland ( UK ) keep living the dream young lady :) x

Hi Becky, Although I've been bikepacking ten years now I was looking for a long distance trip for summer 2023 and after watching your video I choose the GB Divide during July of that year. The previous year 2022 I had ridden LEJOG on the road in 5 days but this time I took my mountain bike and tent and planned a much more relaxed trip. It eventually took the whole month 30 days. I said exactly what you said as I cycled over the hill into JOG, "this is the first time I've seen the sea since Lands End". I camped out as much as I could, although it rained a lot that month and I had only taken my summer kit. I wild camped x 10, camp site x 13, bothy x 2 (one in Wales and one in Scotland) and 5 hotels, when I was sick or needing a break from the rain. Did I say how much it rained, and it was the middle of our summer. Planning to ride the TD in 2024.Will you be on the start line?

Becky, amazing video and adventure! If you want to do this tour again, you can stick to roads and stay in youth hostels / bed & breakfasts (and do it faster or do more detours if you still want a bigger challenge). Maybe you'll be taking on other routes and challenges though. I am very grateful for the blessing of adventures like Land's End to John O'Groats with my Dad. He and I are both getting older now! I recommend anyone to go on adventures like this when you're still young enough and have the time. It remains a precious moment and memory for life.

What can one say after watching this video? What an absolute inspiration and what I loved was the bit were you quoted your Dads advice. He is obviously a wonderful and amazing Dad who has brought his daughter up so well You are an absolute inspiration and such a fine example of what a young woman can be. Not limited or held back by such negativity and discrimination and abuse of women by some areas of society. I’m 57 and although when I was a young man I was able to get out in my bike and do some crazy long trips with no money, about a litre of squash and a mars bar and just about scraping home one day after about 120 miles … My own limitations have held me back and after many many years of depression and anxiety it’s refreshing to start learning about the sheer power of gratitude and kindness to others supplemented with practicing mindfulness and meditation and then seeing you energise each day through simply stopping, taking in your surroundings and just being thankful Keep in with your amazing life young lady you are a beautiful beautiful young woman who is so in tune with her spirit. xx❤❤

Epically amazing and documenting the less popular GB Divide route too 👍Maybe a tip for future bike packing, if rear punctures become a problem swap tyres around - the front tyre to the back. Noticed your rear had a lot of wear in the center but the front didn't so will have more tread protection :)

Love this so much and hello from Australia! Many years ago I cycled by myself for about 7 months: London > Folskstone > Calais > then around Europe for a few months and back. I had a couple of punctures on the way down to Folkstone in the cold and rain. A friendly person helped me out by getting my bike in their work truck and driving me to a bike shop. British people are so lovely!!! Anyway - I invested in Kevlar lined bike tires - I travelled a few thousand miles on them over all sorts of terrain and not one puncture - incredible investment. Thanks for the amazing videos and some experiences that I remembered on my trip :)
