We *finally* got a roof top tent. We should have done it years ago! You won't regret it. Just found your channel, and it's great! I have another channel, Bushcraft North of 60. We're in the Northwest Territories of Canada. Just did a Yukon trip. Haven't posted much recently due to life/school, but I want to get back at it. Love you content! Take care.

Check your headlights. One of them is out. Instead of rooftop go with pop up roof so you still ‘ inside’ and can make a getaway without having to get out of the tent and then into the drivers seat. Love your channel. Keep going.

Grew up in California. 😎🌊🏄 I've been watching your videos for awhile and I gotta say you've definitely grown into a young woman who is feeling the pull of the wonder that is out there. Never about the destination, it's only the journey and a direction that matter. 😎🌲🌄🌌⛺👍

Brilliant episode in a lovely part of the world, some stunning views, the applecross pass is on our list to do, it looks stunning. Hope the tooth ache has passed, a could tip and it’s plentiful up there is a wee dram of single malt, just hold it in your mouth for a minute over the offending tooth and it will go, maybe not permanently but enough time to get to sleep! Looking forward to more and can’t wait to see the roof tent! Keep em coming.

Hi Becks. You are fearless ! Driving around anywhere in Scotland in snow is a challenge, never mind some of those narrow roads. I did the Bealach na Ba with my younger daughter a couple of years ago - it's amazing & that whole area around Applecross & Loch Carron is fabulous for wildlife. Hope you got your tooth sorted. Love all your Scottish videos especially xx

A heater is a must in a car, I have a Webasto in my Jimny, give it a 15 min head start and all the ice and snow is gone, no need for scrapers. The way I see it, Scotland looks a lot like Wales with no buildings, mountains, roads and the magnificent nature, I can't actually tell the difference, a super beautiful video. 👍

Hi Becky You should add a light bar with driving lights on the front and a couple of swivel lights on the roof. A powerful auxiliary reversing lamp can also be very useful for safety. An LED work light is a good option with the Jackery. Also do you carry snow socks or chains for the wheels. Run a waterproof 12v power lead up to the roof tent so you can run electric blankets, then you can use it all year with a good four season or alpine sleeping bag without going too extreme. You could make a bracket so that you could place the Jackery solar panels angled on the roof next to the tent.

I binge watched your Chanel from just before the Percy purchase over a sleepless night (my inability to sleep led to watching)and have had to consider my thoughts about it all day! Firstly i am in awe, 20yrs old and your on great adventures following your dreams and discovering who you are and what makes you happy. Your Chanel vlogs are stunning, I can’t wait to get up there myself! I went with family age 15yrs driving up to sky, never forgotten the beauty. I am the other end of the life spectrum, though not yet over the hill and only just in recent years discovering more of what makes me happy and what my next adventures are. I have a transporter conversion and was toying with the idea of a bigger van. Watching your journey I realise i don’t need to do that, i love my van with a passion, aspects are frustrating, but reality is that i spend a lot of time outside whatever the weather and i need to learn to exist within the space i have with everything i need.thank you for sharing so much of yourself and thought processes as you go, truly awesome and refreshing! I will be following your journey and wish you every happiness and luck along the way xx

Hey Becky, since you drive in bad weather a lot you might consider to buy a hardshell rooftop tent. You can set that up much faster without juggling the pvc cover of a softshell. Eezi awn has 2 types, stealth and blade, which would fit your roofrack and awning just fine.... Hopefully this helps you in your tent of choice. Keep up your video's!

Love your approach Becky, always laughing at what would stress many people out. I drove across Applecross pass a bit late in the evening, but it was still epic. Great video, great scenery, can’t beat Scotland, only thing I’d say is change title from “truck” to Land Rover, as landies arnt trucks, and once your back down south definitely sort a Landy break down box out, puncture kit, heavy black tape, boost pack, spare in tank fuel pump (ones in td5 shape fail often and means recovery) but can be changed in 20 mins road side, headlight bulbs, dipped and main I think are both H7 on td5s with that later style headlight, socket set and spanner’s, enough so you can patch it up to get to a town.
