And in the end, SM stop caring about GG more - almost 2 years without the proper comebacks with a promotion longer than a week etc. Also girls promised that if they will want to comeback as Girls Generation, even when the three of them in another agencies, it's still can be. yeol wie I feel like they’re more iconic then twice tbh. They had a album every year for about 13 years whereas twice has only been here for like 5-6 years. Also just the fact that they defined the entire genre in a big way. There was a very very small amount of kpop groups before them. Twice is great and I am a once, but snsd literally defined the entire genre. They were one of the first (if not THE first) kpop group to ever really bring kpop into mainstream radios in not only Korea but in America as well. I Got a Boy was recognized in America and people seem to forget or ignore that tbh (especially the newer kpop stans or 3rd/4th gen fans and the international fans). They won the very first KZbin music awards music video of the year. They were competing against Justin Bieber and Demi lovato etc and they won by a lot. The second most votes had 300k votes and snsd had over 3 million votes. You honestly cannot compare them to any group (especially 3rd or 4th gen groups). You just can’t. That’s like comparing Michael Jackson to Justin Bieber and saying JB is the new king of pop💀 even tho JB was really famous, no one can beat the king and no one can truly beat nations girl group SNSD. No hate to twice but honestly the comparison is not even close. They’ve been here since 2007 you honestly cannot compare. Not trying to use their age as an excuse but come on, they’re literally the ONLY girl group who’s on “billboard “the 100 songs that defined the 2010s””. Don’t ever try to compare snsd to ANYONE unless you’re implying that snsd is better💀 don’t do that either cause that’s just rude to the other group tbh.

Girls Generation is not only important to Korean music industry， they are the Symbol of girl group in Asia. I'm from China and I can say it for sure,though Girls' Generation hasn't been active as a group for almost 3 years, they still means a lot for many many people. nowadays there are many new girl groups，so many female singers from girl groups are Girls' Generation's fans since they were children, and many of them were inspired to become idol because of Girls' Generation. AND she also knows about the "Wee-Fee" and other technical instagram-ing stuff! I first learned about Tiffany from randomly clicking on a KZbin suggestion for Sisters' Slam Dunk back in 2019. That led me to Girls Go To School, and SNSD, because I couldn't figure out exactly why Tiffany was on the show---she seemed lovely, but an 'airhead'. FAR FROM IT, as I soon discovered. She's so effervescent and lighthearted and generous of spirit, but as I quickly learned she has a great mind for detail and order. In multiple interviews, when other SNSD members are asked about some detail, such as "how long did it take to shoot the IGAB video", one of the others would say "3 days" and Tiff would interject "it was actually four days, and.." etc. Tiffany been and still is relentless about promoting--SNSD, individual members, herself, and the issues that concern her, and she does it so artfully. No wonder she acquired the nickname "Manager Hwang". All the SNSD members were and are smart ( their savage humor with each other, with colleagues and others is indicative of that) but IMHO Tiffany is the smartest of all regarding the industry as a whole, K-pop, pop music in general, celebrity, fashion, the whole damned BUSINESS of it all.
