Girls' Generation paved a lot of K-Pop culture! (First ever fancams hailed from them, first photocards during their 2010 'Oh!' album, etc) and are basically every idol's idol. I'm really looking forward towards more of your thoughts towards them as they really are so amazing that they slay even 15 years later since their debut! Always and forever, it's Soshi!

Even the concept of Center. It's normal for a group (especially for groups with odd number of members). But Girls Generation made that concept appointing Yoona as their center for most of the songs.

snsd actually have so much concept, we can't just look at one concept and said "oh! this is snsd!", 'forever 1' is on their "bright concept" like 'gee', 'oh!' and a few of their japanese songs like 'my oh my', etc, that's why they're the blueprint of so many girl groups

The started with a pure image (into the new world, baby baby, echo, and many more) , to cheerful (gee, oh!) and then they started to explore different types of music. Try to see the Run devil Run, the Bad Girl, then You Think. There are also Hoot and Lion Heart. Then I got a boy. I think I got a boy is really an iconic song at that time it's released as it's so different from other songs. Summer vibe, try Party as well.

In the bridge part of Forever 1, you could hear the sample of the intro of Into The New World.. that made my eyes teary.. this MV shows each members current lives (Hyo doing DJ, Yoona as an actress, Fany inside the airplane going to US then Korea, etc)

First,a group of soloists, musical artists, actresses, djs, hosts, businesswomen, endorsers, ambasadresses, chefs, authors, etc. to have all these successful individuals in one group is beyond incredible. Secondly,I'm literally crying watching the FOREVER 1 MV. Been a sone since 2011 and I’m so happy to see them together again. And also the line distribution and vocals, my god! And you can also notice on the video their individual career. Happy 15th Anniversary to the Queens and the k-pop legendary Girl Group! Girls Generation was branded "Nations Girl Group" by the government so it's given they held so much respect from fans and the whole Kpop industry. Even Idols today won't even deny the fact that they knew Girls Generation, since it's pretty normal for idols to know Into The New World's (SNSD's debut song) choreo. They are also like textbook of Kpop concepts. Since almost every concept a Girl Group could do, Girls Generation already had done it. From retro to futuristic, cute to sexy. Edit: I just wanna add, in "The Boys", it's actually a collab song with Teddy Riley. That's why in the intro, Jessica said "GG, TRX" meaning "Girls Generation, Teddy Riley Experience"

Ability to pull off any kind of concept is one of the reasons behind SNSD's popularity. Of course they got to try some of the more mature and daring concepts as they grew but they didn't have one set style that they worked in and then switched into another set style. They did everything and you never really knew what you'd be getting with them next. They would also release a darker song next to a brighter one. For example "Lion Heart" and "You Think" were a double title and there was a "Party" and "Check" combo weeks before that. Both pairs polar opposites of each other. Even this anniversary concept is a combination of their cute innocent side and a mature one.

Forever 1 is their 7th album and this is trully a gift for sones (GG fandom name), this song itself is a 15 years history or a resume from all of their hit songs, the clues is everywhere in the mv and everything. They also display their individual activities as they pursuing their own dreams such as singers, musical, actress, model, DJ, etc but they are still the one. They talk about themself and also their bonds with fans (sones). They kept their promise to fans that they will comeback as one from last comeback in 2017 and they make it happen, it's not easy because they all very busy with their individual career and 3 of them no longer under the parent agency SM Entertainment, this kind of things never happen as far as I know. If you are going to keep watching more Soshi mvs I recommend not to watch the ITNW ballad live perf. (if the one you are talking about is from Tokyo Dome) yet bcs it's one of the most cherished performances from them for us Sone. So it would be better to watch it when you are more into these girls. Then your reaction will also be better. Many Sone like to recommend it bcs it's really so amazing and iconic but it's not sth you should watch for now
