@@dinmjh2173 Yes, they won absolutely all the 2009 and 2010 awards as artists of the year, girl group of the year, album of the year and song of the year, and this was confirmed even by GALLUP KOREA (the most important cultural site in South Korea, linked to the government obviously) but unfortunately they did not win in MAMA, because MAMA had problems with SM at that time (until now MAMA continues to have problems with SM and Yg) it is a very corrupt award and only gave awards for attendance, but the good thing is that we all know who the artists of 2009 and 2010 really were, but at least justice was served in 2011 when SNSD won artist of the year and girl group of the year.

But if we go back to 2011, MAMA tried to "apologize" by inviting SM artists for the first time and maybe 2011 It was the year in which everyone won, 0 corruption, 2ne1 winning SOTY deservedly, SNSD taking the best gg and AOTY, etc. But that "apology" did not last long because SM and MNET had problems again and mnet deleted all the performances of the SM artists in the 2011 mama, including SNSD which at that time was the most viewed. Omg yesss more snsd!!!😆🥰 i love all theses songs but girl’s generation is honestly my fave snsd song ever it’s just so fun & cute plus the VOCALS (for me especially taeyeon & jessica voices doing the highnotes!!) and the electric guitar the synths and the BRIDGE are everything too and for me it never gets old and hoot too when i first saw the whole 60s concept they did in the mv I absolutely loved it when i first saw it back in 2012 cos i love retro especially 60s/70s style/vibes/fashion and to me hoot will always be iconic & visually one of the best retro concepts in kpop!! i think it is about what was trending that time and SNSD inspiring their own flare and style bc lil touch was trendy in the time I knew about kpop but it still has the SNSD feel and I loved it. I have not been the kpop world as long as you have been so I may have different taste. However, their old songs really do hit different and it made it better that it was full group songs. By the time I entered the kpop world, I was only able to hear their solos that I also loved. The overall point is SNSD do no wrong!

Regarding to your question about the subunit that has a Christmas song, the name of the subunit is "TTS" (Taeyeon, Tiffany and Seohyun) and the song is "Dear santa". They also have two more mv's: -Holler -Twinkle Now, the korean MV's that are left are: -Holiday -Dancing Queen They also have MV's to some amazing bsides of their albums that i recommend you to check out, i would love to see your reactions to them, especially way to go: -Kissing You -Way to go (this is a happy pill for sure, if you enjoyed "Girls generation" this much, i think you will definetly enjoy this one too, and let me tell you the electric guitar in the back is a m a z i n g!!!). -Sailing (tho this is a ballad that one of the members wrote for their 15th anniversary i think). FiFi, I highly recommend ""SNSD 4TH TOUR PHANTASIA IN JAPAN." First 3 songs: "You Think," "Genie," "Bump It." I've always been partial to Yuri, but during the "You Think" bridge, Sooyoung does her thing and I literally can't take my eyes of her. She absolutely shines in that concert. In 4" heels she's right at 6 feet tall. Hair a little messy and looks even more beautiful (unique that way), fluent in Japanese, as a member of SNSD'S dance line, along with Hyo & Yuri, she does "Push It." It's something to see.
