North Luzon tour loop is the best roadtrip in the Philippines.Its complete from -1 Celsius mountain to plains to beaches. Motorcycle or car it doesn't matter.

Cagayan de Oro is in Northern Mindanao, just an hour drive to my hometown Iligan City. For someone who's new to Mindanao, Northern Mindanao is a good start, going through Bukidnon, and then Davao. Then visit the other places when you are quite versed around the area. Mindanao is literally an untapped potential that is often overlooked and subjected to negative stereotypes even from locals. Even the food is overlooked as well. Most of the "Filipino Food" are Luzon food and we often don't hear any food from Mindanao when it comes to Filipino food, especially the food of Western Mindanao.

Michael allready showed the port but the views were extra stunning of the Roxas port from the ship, like the peeks out the windows as he walked the ship tour. Seemed even more beautiful, maybe cuz it was also great weather? Dunno why. It WAS like being in a movie, I’m sure. I actually thought that earlier, gave me a flashback of boat scenes from an old movie I recently saw: Macao. The Philippines (under USA colonization) was kinda in the movie, well, mentioned by a character from there in the movie….

That guy who's from North Cebu, I second him. Next time you visit Cebu, go north. Everyone goes south of Cebu, so crowds and traffic goes with them. If you're like me, who doesn't like crowds, go north. It's calmer, the beach are better, less traffic if you go through Cebu-North Coastal Rd or Consolacion-Tayud-Liloan Rd, and the roads are way better! I don't know why South Cebu has awful roads, although they are currently fixing that.

I was just in the Philippines last week and I love those ships. Took a 12 hour from Cebu to Calbayog. got the state room. It was a very comfortable experience.

Cagayan de Oro is in northern mindanao, davao is in the south eastern part. You can get from Cagayan de Oro to Davao by bus for 8 hrs, but if by car, it will probably be 4-5 hrs. In between Cagayan de Oro and Davao is Bukidnon, so i agree with the girl that suggested you should visit davao and cagayan de oro and you can stop along bukidnon too if you like mountainous views.

These are some of the things I miss doing during my childhood. Took ferrys from Mactan to Iloilo or Estancia. Seeing the ocean at night on a full moon was something that always stuck with me. Can't wait to do it again when I go back to Estancia. Keep up the vids Greetings from Chicago.

CDO is in Northern Mindanao. From Dumaguete, you can take a ferry to CDO, its just a few hours. You can take Beast from Iloilo to Bacolod. Drive to Dumaguete. Then ferry to CDO. Then you can go all over Mindanao.

Sorry bro never been to Mindanao myself. You are more traveled than me. In Luzon I have been to Baguio and south until Sorsogon. In Visayas, since I am from Iloilo and Antique then plus Aklan but not to Guimaras and Capiz. Been to Mindoro, Cebu and Bohol.

cagayan de oro is in the northern part of mindanao province of misamis oriental a city of golden friendship it is the gateway to all points in mindanao west going to iligan city east to butuan city all along the coastline and in the middle going uphill to bukidnon either proceeding to davao city or cotabato city...

It’s about 10,000 pesos for your car which includes accommodations for 2 on the aircon deck or you can upgrade to a cabin @12,000 pesos. I can see the lights from Roxas on a clear night from my bed. I’ve rode this boat a couple of times. I live on Tablas Island should be your first stop when leaving Caticlan. You ever get the chance visit.

Live music happened as you saw but it seems everyone who was at Boracay got on the ship and were too tired to do anything so they went to bed. Just a few people came and watched the band. No party that night

Get a dual sim phone and use both Globe and Smart. Smart is supposedly better in the country and Globe in the larger cities. Many Filipinos have both for that reason. They are dirt cheap so it will not break the bank. I was in Manila for a month so I used Globe.
