I really ended up enjoying Girls' Last Tour a lot more than I expected, what with the bleak setting and all, so I think I'll take a look at the other two anime in this video as well

Another one of my favorite Post-Apocalyptic Slice-of-Life anime in the absurdist comedy style is Humanity has Declined, which touch on many of the same themes and is hilarious.

Have you watched Shangri-La? If not, do so. It offers a very interesting take on post-apocalyptic setting, with a more high-tech turn.

I haven't, I'll definitely look at it, especially due to the Renge Murata designs.

Should have waited for today's episode before finishing this video, it portrayed most of what's explained here. This line made me cry harder than Konohana Kitan ep8: i.imgur.com/2fksJ1C.jpg

+Ricardo Herrera haha, well nothing I can do about that I suppose. Not shocked that they got a bit more direct with it. At least the YKK and SnW parts of the video aren't outdated.

Loved the video! I'm actually writing a paper right now about GLT and escapism, so this is really cool! Can I make some constructive criticism? Your tone is too monotonous and some words are drawn out too long, someone with concentration problems or with a different mother tongue than english (like me) might find it hard to follow your train of thought. Maybe some background music would help too? But anyways, great work! The writing of your videos is getting better and better.

+CRISTINA TOLEDO OLMEDO I'm pretty stylistically opposed to using music except in a few instances, but I'll definitely take the tone advice, thanks!
