Sarah's illness echoed my mum's 10 years ago. Breast cancer which spread to her brain. I know all too well what Sarah and her family were going through in those last few months. Knowing that there is no more suffering does ease things, but at 39, it's still very tragic and her family and friends are going to go through a lot mentally. If there's any light to this news, I hope it spurs on woman of any age to get themselves checked regularly. The idea might be daunting and scary, but it could genuinely save you life. Rest easy now Sarah. I'm not a huge girl/boy group kind of guy, but always had a soft spot for Girls Aloud, and this song in particular was their very best.

I don't live in the UK, so I only recently found out that people tended to describe Nicola as the "least attractive" of the five (which took a huge toll on her emotionally). My absolute favorite Girls Aloud song. I so wished they had come to the States. I was listening to them from the time they released “Sound of the Underground” when they won Pop Stars. The was when I was in London 10 years ago and I was in a sandwich shop and this came on the little radio they had playing in there. I flipped out so hard.
