I watched it something like 2-3 years ago, and this clip skips through a lot. So maybe I'm not remembering it correctly, BUT... when I heard the "she sleeps with her students then they disappear" line, and how everybody on campus knew that, my assumption is that *of course* that means it's not fucking true. There's no way a rumor like that is remotely based in reality, right? Her relationship with Jackie happened, obviously... but do we even know about any other? One would assume there was one that was taken out of context, not even necessarily romantic just a closer than typical student/teacher relationship. (Of course, as I said, maybe I'm forgetting; perhaps I assumed that and, when the movie proved me wrong, I ignored that because I thought my version made for a better story. I do that sometimes.)
