It made me feel so dirty and gross, and it’s really hard not to still feel that way, even now, as a freshman in college. This channel is so important. I got confused for a moment. I legitimately thought youtube was having a bug for a second. I mean "Loving Annabelle? The teacher/student one. They already did this one." And then I remembered it was Bloomington and they are two different movies. x) Anyway, to conclude : Don't bone your teacher or wait a semestre instead of 5 to 10 years. I'm partly relieved, though. Of all the teacher/student I saw in movie or tv it's only the second one I saw getting arrested for it. And the first one was in an episode of a police drama. lol

I've seen neither of the movie, hence why my mix up. All I knew is that it was a teacher/student things (which is why I didn't try to watch them before). Plus Mariel being a guest in this one too (there seem to be a theme, indeed). From the little I've seen, Loving Annabelle does sound largely better. The ending for one. But just the characterization in general from what I've seen. In Bloomington the teacher was just... Let's say that woman should definitely have been arrested. In this one, it was also more Annabelle that did the pursuing. It's still inappropriate but it seemed a lot less predatory.

You can a 100% like the movie and enjoy the interactions and condemn the fucked up aspects of the relationship! That's why this movie kinda works, there's a catalysis of sorts at the end to make you go "oh wait this was actually messed up and we were blinded by the love" (obviously it could've been done better, since there's no sign of remorse from the characters' side) but it's a start! It's also overall a much better movie than bloomington, script, filming, everything.

I haven't seen anyone recommend watching "Show me love" so I will. It was the first lesbian movie I ever watched and it is about two teenage girls, so no weird inappropriate relationship there. It is a really nice coming of age movie from Sweden and is quite different from a lot of the films you have watched.

My fantasy ending, mother immaculater is accused by Simone of abusing her as a kind(their relationship got weird) and gets fired. Simone gets off because Annabelle knows damaging stuff about her mum and basically blackmails her because it would damage her career. Simone and Annabelle decide to have the first gay wedding. Kat gets sent to a really tough rehab. Simones ex-boyfriend becomes a professional Ben Stiller lookalike. Colins has become the most popular student and sets up an animal rescue programme with like-minded students. Colins is also a ring bearer for the wedding, which she carries in the ring on a porcupines spine.

I really loved this film when it came out (and i still do), so when i saw this films director selling another one of those brown and glass necklaces on eBay to fund another of her projects in ended up buying it. While she was visiting a monastery in Asia she made two necklaces (At least that's what the description said but eBay description had photos of her making them), one that actress wore in this movie and the other that ended up in my possession. Holding the necklace in my hand while watching your video really makes me feel connected...
