@actuallyNo...9 ай бұрын
Oh They knew. .. but they were really mad & when that happened they needed someone to blame. IT WAS NOT gonna be Kendra. She was the wittle baby dat Heffy woved, oh so cuteyyyy. She mayn't've been the 'head gf', but she WAS the top pick when it came to a lot a things. She was a favorite in so many ways, & you'll notice Hef would get mad (or show frustration) with the other 2 but never HER on the show. Nothin she did could make him angry. ..even if she thought he was gonna be maD, she'd lay it on thick & lovey dovey, then give that laugh he loved, tell a lil joke or do a butt twerk & his pissiness just melted away. Mary, on the other hand..she shoulda apologized to B. Later if she didn't. On her part, she totally knew, but sh1t rolls down hill. U gotta imagine just how bad she got it from Hef if stuff didn't go right (including stuff w/the 3 gals). She was overly frustrated & just blew a gasket. I'm not a huge fan of Mary's, never was... but I totally get how she was probably so over stressed. Then that morning, she just blew up. Who knows(?), Hef could a just chewed her out the night b4 or even that mornin about something else not workin out, then she walked into the mess of Kendra doin her usual, "I don't wanna get outta bed yet" routine, & just lost it. I mean, she was in her late 70s!!!! That was a tad too much for her at that age (it be too much for me at 40! Lol). Kendra was young sure, but as u said, she was still an adult and had no respect for others , much less her elders. The unappreciative attitude she had was just off the charts. She acted like a 12 year old with no understanding of anyone around her. [Although not to sound stark, but her mother always acted the same from what you see on the show, so i.m.o., she probably was raised that way- or at the very least it rubbed off on'er.lol]

I believe that Bridget managed to understand some French because she was learning Spanish. These languages have common Latin roots and about 85% of the Spanish and French lexicons share similarities. I am a native Portuguese speaker and I have a much easier time understanding French, Italian and Spanish than my boyfriend who is Norwegian. I also believe that knowing English made it way easier for me to learn Norwegian/Danish/Swedish later on, which in turn means I can now also understand a bit of German and Dutch.

I did a private tour and they DO have water tanks under the palais garnier. This is basically cistern they built into the design of the building. Some of the Maintinence people put fish in it so we saw some fish when we looked down. However I didn’t go inside. The water looked gross and it was pretty full when we went. They used all the tunnels to hide during the war too. Pretty cool. Didn’t look at all like the phantom set if you were wondering 😅

The way Bridget was treated, sounds like a similar situation I used to have at home growing up. With a narcissistic parent. Because of the state of tension and underlying fear everyone is in all the time around them, without realizing it, everyone is usually on edge. And it's easier to blame the first person that you hear something bad about, you don't want to think about it too much or try to see their side because you're exhausted by having to constantly be in an environment where the person running the show drains your energy, usually explaining your case to them gets you nowhere, explaining anything to then gets you nowhere, as they rely on twisting your words and confusion (manipulation) to not look bad in every situation. If you're in that state already walking on eggshells, it's almost an instinctual protective mechanism to blame the easiest target. It's very wrong. It's just what I've noticed that being around a toxic person who's your boss or your parent, any authority figure, will do to people. And then when that toxic person has decided who is in the wrong, everyone knows how they will be punished, either emotionally, mentally, physically or a combination of the three, if they go against that opinion. To me, you were at the mercy of a toxic environment caused by a narcissist. Side note. Love your show, watching from South Africa. Used to watch you guys on GND, you were brilliant. Second side note. Am also on the spectrum ❤🙂

I know Hef and Holly stayed together and all of you were usually in a suite, but did you always have to share a room with Kendra or did that eventually end as the show became more popular? Were y’all expected to share a bed if the room only had one, or did they make sure you’d have your own bed? I’m confused at where Hef thought Kendra and Steven were boning if he was across the hall in the suite 😂 Would the extra people like Steven, Mary, Keith, Joe from security have rooms on the same floor or just the same hotel?
