I think it's crazy when people tell you to be grateful especially when their only reference was the show.. that's almost like telling Tina turner to be grateful to ike turner for discovering her and helping her get famous.. people don't realize that's the number one way abusers gaslight their victims, and just because they have done good things for you doesn't mak3 up for the mental and/or physical abuse.. keep telling your truth!

I'm a girl and I love you girls. I watched the show when it aired and loved it then. When I went to rewatch it a few years ago, I couldn't. It was so degrading to you all and I was so mad at myself for not seeing it as that way originally. I knew there were moments that were edited to make you look this or that demeaning way but I truly thought you all three were in on the joke and knew that you'd be portrayed in those ways. I thought you were probably making so much money for the show and had so much fabulous, expensive stuff given to you by HH that you likely thought, "Who cares? Let them laugh. We're laughing all the way to the bank!" I'm so happy, proud of you, and thankful that you're telling the true story behind the show and your true experiences. I'm still sorry that I didn't pick up on the horrid underbelly of your living situation while watching the show but I did always think it very odd that HH hadn't made any of you playmates when you were and are absolutely gorgeous. I always felt like he was using that to keep you trying to appease him - as a dangling carrot (no bunny rabbit pun intended at all) in front of you. I also wonder if you ever felt that way. HH acted as if you weren't "good enough" or "pretty enough" or something when he'd keep denying you your dreams. I always thought wtf is wrong with him? He's an a$$hole. Now I know so much more. He was a disgusting, deplorable, felonious man. I've read your books and I've believed every word you've said since you decided to speak up and speak out. I'm so sorry for what you endured.

OMG... Holly, when you said Hef was thinking "I need to have a girl sitting next to me", I got shivers. EXACTLY. I really think that may be the biggest reason why he didn't like you trying to shoot baskets. As far as he was concerned, he wanted you planted next to him. He needed to look like "the man with all the women". Sitting by himself was not an option.

They're allowed to talk about how they feel and felt at the time, that's the whole point of the podcast. If kendra takes issue with anything they say she can speak for herself and refute it but she hasn't because even someone as empty in the head as kendra has to be self aware enough at this point to be able to acknowledge she was a brat and also a huge asshole for defending hef to this day.
