Good job, I despite having American friends I didn't realise so many of these were British! A few more ideas; cuppa, ta (so many times I had to explain this), seen, gander... if you go into cockney slang there are too many I love discovering my country's as well as others 🤟

I'm British, and in all my days I've never heard the saying a cheeky nando's this must be a regional thing (down south) We do have French fries in BRITAIN, these are long narrow potatoe slices, mainly at such places as McDonald's or other American style restaurants, CHIPS on the other hand are much thicker potatoe slices, to which us BRITS add ketchup, or curry sauce, mayonnaise, or gravy or vinegar. When having FISH & CHIPS, you will be asked, (if having it wrapped up to take away ) do you want salt and vinegar, or they will be some on the counter top so that you can put it on yourself A good fishshop ( chippie) will have a choice of fish ( up NORTH it's mainly HADDOCK down south it's CODD) to be had with mushy peas, or curry sauce or gravy, in my area we ( north east- humber region) have a thing called a PATTIE, they don't sell them down south, they don't know what they are (and no it's not a fishcake) look it up ? It's a regional thing.

I wonder if you would take the tea challenge. Make a vlog in your unique witty style where you start with the cold water, kettle, milk, milk jug, sugar bowl and sugar. Make a cup of the way you think is correct and ask for comments. Great vlog as ever. Kevin

Just to explain a bit on the "Cheeky nandos". It means that the person isn't really suppose to be having a nandos but they are going to have one anyway. So some examples are maybe that person is trying to lose some weight and aren't suppose to be eating takeaways, or that person is on the way to meet friends and dont have time to stop at nandos on the way, but they decide to stop there anyway even though they don't really have time and their friends might be a bit cross with them for being late. Thats the term for cheeky when used in conjunction with a place like nandos "Cheeky nandos". So "we are not suppose to have a nandos, but let's have a nandos anyway"

Absolutely - a cheeky nandos/chinese/indian/kebab is pretty much saying "probably shouldn't but fuck it I can't be arsed cooking!"

'long' is definitely regional to wherever you are, I'm British and I've never heard it used that way! The rest were spot on though. Also I like that you used 'rubbish' like a native without noticing!

As a London boy and a fan of all our prized slang terms, Long can be such a useful term when you just can’t be bothered, or “can’t be arsed”. Add that to your next vid if you do any more. Loved watching it and hearing how your American accent has been diluted to sound almost British. Ps, Cheeky doesn’t mean just quick, it’s also like a guilty pleasure. Like, let’s nip into the pub and have a cheeky pint before going home. I doubt you’ll read this or reply, but thought I’d post my appreciation anyway. X

01:35 probably because these days (in part thanks to Harry Potter) “bloody” is seen as a pretty tame word! I find more and more people, even those you wouldn’t expect to use profanity, use f**king instead! Crazy I know! 06:46 Funnily enough- Nick meaning Gaol (not jail), as in “I was sent to the Nick for half inching” actually originates in the colonies, specifically Australia from the 1880s where it first shows up in a Sydney Book of slang.

A) Afraid you are grammatically more correct than the "professor" - the word is pronounced "MISS chiv us" B) any item that is referred to as "cheeky" is being acknowledged to be slightly naughty but nice, e.g, a cheeky pint would be to have an unscheduled pub-stop, which might go on to more than the one. SImilarly a cheeky nando is a meal which you all know is not likely to be good for you.
