The Giro is about to get really interesting. Next, it's long stages and mountains where GC contenders can lose or gain plenty of time. Good performance by the IGD squad but to salvage their 2020 season, they better win la Vuelta. Thank you Eurosport, good work as usual.

Majka coming into form nicely 122nd to 16th and 50sec to Wilco (30sec in TT1) both Nibz and Pozzo are a minute down on Wilco in TT2 compared to same time in TT1 doesnt sound good for Nibz who you expect to be much better last time they were doing fine in Giro was 2017 and Pozzo lost about as much to Nibz as Nibz to TT winners it's all to play for over 20 more climbs

Julian is a road champ while ganna is a TT champion. Ganna will only wear the rainbow jersey when it is a time trail race only

Important time margin for opponents from João and Wilco. next days are tough days, this time is gold for them. They're at the forefront to win this Giro at the moment. If anybody else wants to win it they have to attack and make differences in the next week and tomorrow as well.

It’s such a unpredictable Giro, before it started I expected a battle between Thomas, Kruijswijk and Yates... Now it’s so unpredictable. Based on all the stages that have already been ridden Kelderman is the favourite - because Almeida already couldn’t follow the pace in the first mountain stage and is just new to this all - however Kelderman has bottled a lot in his career, so Nibali still has a big chance to win it. I think it’s now between Nibali, Almeida and Kelderman.
