Both were expressive in their own emotions. Nina is aggressive, confident, competitive, in her body language showed feverishness to beat Yeon Soo. Yeon Soo movements, facial expression were very subtle showing emotions filled with true love, flexibility, compassion, angelic. Kim Dan has instilled truest, purest love on Yeon Seo. Every move, turn Yeon Seo made is a dance made for angel Dan 👼😇 I was choked with emotions......Bravos to both ballerinas 😉

You gotta admit that when Yeonseo dances, the background music is more sad and well prepared, even they add sad scenes too when she dances. While when Nina dances, the background music is so basic. That's why some people say that they feel sad or even cry when Yeonseo dances. They put so much effort to Yeonseo's dancing scene.

I truly believe that shin hye sun is the gem of this generation, truthfully I first know of her in the drama 'she was pretty' and that role didn't really show the viewers what she was capable of since it was just a supporting role. Finally someone said it jahahahah. I love the drama but truth to be told, Nina is an actual ballerina tho and Yeon so is not. I love Yeon so as an actress, because she delivers her lines so good, however, if the role is specific likr ballerina. They shouldve hired someone who is an actual ballerina. Yeonso's performance was mainly just running around and her emotions but not really much dancing.

Script aside, you can see that Kim Bo Mi (Nina) has a real ballerina body though. The way she stands, the way she moves as well. That being said, Shin Hye Sun did a great job portraying a ballet dancer and learning ballet in such a short time. I enjoyed this drama a lot.

Shin Hye Sun as Yeonseo actually studied ballet. She has undergone six months of hardcore ballet practice. Although, compared to Nina, Nina is more of a natural, since she’s a ballerina in real life. I’m pretty sure they thought abt it well who’ll play as the protagonist and antagonist. I don’t think Nina can pull off what SHS did in the first few eps when the protagonist is a cold-hearted woman until Kim Dan came and became warm.

Like for example nam joo hyuk has to learn how to swim properly because he is potraying a swimmer athlete. And to do a performance like nina did in this video must be recognize years of practice. So SHS still did a good job in just six months practice
