I got all the autumn feels making this video for you, the colours changing, the last tomato work, walks, food and drinks, i just loved every minute of it.
in a question i answered, i mentioned that we don't always have cream handy and its on the expensive side for us, the reason being we don't have our own dairy cows so cream and milk are things that we still have to buy, hopefully soon we will have our own.
#Hutterite #weekinmylife #autumnfeels
pumpkin bread:
itsavegworldaf...
for the cider:
apples
oranges
nutmeg
cloves
cinnamon
and a little salt
i just eye balled everything and added it to my liking

From someone who makes candles and therefore spills wax more than she would like: the easiest way to get spilled wax up is with an iron and a paper towel or coffee filters. put the coffee filter over the wax, run the iron over the filter set to low and the filter soaks up the wax.

I don't know if this will serve as encouragement. The Christian walk is one of faith and most of the time it takes courage to walk it and to trust in the LORD. I am reminded of when Jesus went up to the mountain with Peter, John and James. (If you would like to read it is in St. Luke 9: 28-36. They were afraid and Christ was with them. The point is to have courage along with your faith.

Hi Giselle, It is so good to see you again. I always look forward to Sunday morning for our weekly vlogs. Yes, it's Sunday morning here in Australia when it's Saturday evening there in MB. Our timezone is UTC+10 and yours is UTC-5, UTC is an acronym for Universal Time Coordinate, it used to be GMT or Greenwich Mean Time. Greenwich is a town in south-east London, England, located in the historic county of Kent. The Greenwich prime meridian is a geographical reference line that passes through the Royal Observatory, Greenwich, in London, England. It was first established by Sir George Airy in 1851, and by 1884, over two-thirds of all ships and tonnage used it as the reference meridian on their charts and maps. separates east from west in the same way that the Equator separates north from south. Inextricably linked with Greenwich Mean Time, it also sits at the centre of our system of time zones. Its path is determined by the location of a historic telescope, the Airy Transit Circle, which is housed at the Royal Observatory. On the opposite side of the world is the International Date Line, which is the internationally accepted demarcation and an imaginary line on Earth's surface defining the boundary between one day and the next. It is located halfway around the world from the prime meridian (0° longitude ) or about 180° east (or west) of Greenwich, London, UK, the reference point of time zones and serves as the boundary between one calendar day and the next. It passes through the Pacific Ocean, roughly following the 180° line of longitude and deviating to pass around some territories and island groups, which is why there is almost a days difference between North America on one side of the Pacific ocean and Australia on the other side. So, going from Australia to North America one gains a day, while travelling in the other direction, one loses a day as one crosses the International Date Line. Confused? Me too... LOL. The other thing to consider is Australia is located in the Southern Hemisphere or to the south of the equator while North America is located in the Northern Hemisphere or north of the equator. This makes our seasons opposite to those in North America too, just to muddy the water a little more. Even more confused now? Me too... LOL. My apologies for the geography lesson, but I thought somebody here might like to hear the explanation. God bless all, until next time... 🙏❤️😊🙏

Happy Fall Giselle. Harvest is in full swing here in sw MN and the no see um's are as well. Man those tiny things can bite! We had a good week with my husband getting a really good report at his heart check up and his quarterly regular check up , and I'll be getting spacers between my lower 2 vertebrae to take the pressure off my spine and prevent me from being paralyzed. I dread another surgery but it won't be as extensive as what was first presented to me. I am sure you ladies were glad to have tomato season behind you. Our vines are done now, too. Thanks so much for answering questions. I'm a new subscriber, so have yet to go back and listen to all the old ones, but I do have these questions - 1. how old is your oldest dress? (LOL). 2. How much can you vary your white blouses? Do you have long sleeved ones as well as short sleeved ones? 3. Who decides what the fabric you get looks like - is there a lady or group of ladies who do the buying of the fabrics? (Can you tell I like to sew?) 4. How many meals a day do you eat in the community kitchen? 5. How often do you help with the actual cooking for everyone - every few weeks or more often? 5. I think when people asked how do you make your money, I think they meant, how do YOU make your money (from which you buy books or bags or anything personal). 6. Is it difficult to always ask for something you need or is it just something you are used to...IOW, do you sometimes get turned down if you ask for cream or milk too often? If that happens, can you go to a store somewhere not too far away and buy your own? 7. I know Canadian Thanksgiving is in October, right? 8. I'd love to see more garden footage - I love seeing the peppers, tomatoes, etc. I know it is pain to always video, though...thanks for doing what you do. 9. Also..I'd love to see a more 'indepth video - not so fast - not just quick blips and glimpses - about your sewing room, and all the equipment. I saw a Pfaff sewing machine with IDT when you showed a brief glimpse of you sewing. Do you have to reserve the sewing room and do you normally finish making a dress in one sitting? Sorry for all the questions, but thanks to you and all your friends who let you video them! We appreciate it!

welcome , welcome i'm happy to have you, i'll answer a few questions and save the rest for a video #1 oldest dress almost 12 years its the type of fabric that never gets ugly #2 white blouses we used to wear longer ones but, currently enjoy the shorter ones a lot better #3 we have ladies in charge of the fabric and that make sure we have scything we need all the way down to snaps #4 3 meals a day breakfast, lunch and supper #5 that all depends on how many people a colony has so we have enough for 10 weeks so every 10 weeks i have to cook as for the money part i missed that but, in an older video i explained that we get a monthly allowance which i save to buy the gadgets that i need 😊

I keep wondering about your farming practices. Do you farm conventionally? Organically? Any special farming methods you try to practice? Your produce always looks so beautiful, and I love that your community lives in communion with the earth God created us to be a part of!

A beautiful video! Fall colors! We don’t see a lot of changes like that in this part of Texas. Do you learn music reading in choir? I’m a choir director and really enjoy your singing! Beautifully in tune with a lovely unified tone and diction. Your hymns are positive and uplifting! Thanks!

I find your videos inspiring and informative for another way to live life. May the Lord continue to bless you and the rest of the Colony. May I ask who does the drone footage for you? It is just majestic to see what God's beautiful Earth looks like from footage taken from above,
