The others are wonderful, but it isn’t just their talent, it’s how they choose to arrange things, how cohesive they are and which songs they choose as well. It’s all of it together. I love all the other groups mentioned here as well, but… PTX is magical.

She's capable of going into belt mode without warning with bo apparent preparation and doing so flawlessly and seamlessly. For the record, since you brought it up, I thought I heard a little bit (or a lot) of Manchester dialectics in your speaking patterns. My wife and I travel summers when teachers are set free from our prisons to countries around the world for aid organizations. It's quite interesting that many of those organizations have offices in Britain, so we have seen much of the country. I dearly love meeting people, and we go on many a pub crawl. Gitana thank you. I think this is a clear view on Kirsten's voice and power. Notice the vibrato when she is singing so low that adds texture to the music, it is amazing. Also, Kevin playing the cello and beat boxing at the same time; classic and so cool.

I have been following them since The Sing Off. I finally saw them at a Christmas show in 2018. It was great! Would love to see them again. They do not come to Dallas/Fort Worth enough. Three of them grew up here.

That is exactly why Kirsten is my favorite member of PTX- when she is making surprises with her voice I like it more than any other surprises from this group. Their live show is phen-om-in-al!!! They are so good and really connect and appreciate their fans, and really put on a fun and amazing show! And they sound SO Amazing, just as good as their studio work and the energy is so great! Don't know how they do it. This cover is gorgeous, Goosebumps every time. My favorite band too!!! I had never heard this song before seeing Floor and Henk do Phantom on your channel inspired me to watch all 8 episodes of the Beste Zangers show (3 times 😂). Floor sang this once solo and once in duet with one of the other participants. Two different versions. Really impressive, to an old fart like me anyway, to pull that off. This PTX version is different also, but still excellent. I’ve really grown to love this song. Great stuff Gitana! We've seen them twice in concert and they are fantastic! I definitely recommend it. I haven't seen Home Free yet because they don't get to as many places but I really want to! My suggestion for your next Pentatonix song if it's before Christmas time might be Royals or maybe Radioactive, but when it gets closer to Christmas you HAVE to react to The Little Drummer Boy which is the video that really put them on the map :) Mary Did you Know is also amazing.

Hope you get tickets to Manchester. I was bought tickets to the original date as my birthday present from my wife last year. Made my day (it would be my second time seeing them live). Devastating (although totally understandable) that they had to postpone but now you get to see them too! So worth it. Spent half the concert last time giddy off my feet, the other half in tears. They are just as awesome live as they are in the studio (suggest listening to some of their live performances for proof,) and their live concerts are apparently a lot of fun too (never been lucky enough to go to one, but that's one thing everyone who has seems to agree on.) There is a live performance on KZbin of their cover of 'Aha!' (the Imogen Heap song, not the 'eighties band) in Singapore, where Mitch just tears up the stage with his jaw-dropping vocals and Avi LITERALLY blows the speakers with his bass. Can definitely recommend their Daft Punk medley if you want something a little different from their ballad-y stuff - that one won them a Grammy award.

Like this one, a few of their songs do feature Kevin (the beatboxer) on cello. 2 PTX covers have him on cello & also feature Lindsey Stirling with her violin. Otherwise they are completely a capella, & they are definitely one of the top talented a capella groups in the world now. Between them all with their singing ranges & vocal sound effects skills (most but not all from the beatboxer & the bass), being able to rap & even learning to do foreign language covers (Korean, Japanese, French, Spanish), they can do so many songs from multiple genres. They like & get influenced by many kinds of music. Since his celloboxing video is what brought Kevin into the group & a pretty unique talent, & also since they depend so much on his beatboxing that he rarely sings (Scott is a barritone but can go low enough to cover the bass, giving the bass more opportunities to sing lead) they do like to feature his cello skills for the fans when they feel a song could use a touch more of something that they just can't produce as fully with only the 5 of them. At live concerts there's always a time for Kevin to cellobox. He does other instruments too, & you can see some of that in his solo works on his channel.
