I think this was traditionally the case but I have noticed that more and more reactors are blown away by her, primarily because she's stepped out from the background and just dominated the solos she has these days. The bigger frustration comes from people not understanding how much work she was doing in those earlier arrangements. Talk about glue.

From the latest remake of movie “ A Star is Born”. First one remember starred Judy Garland & I know there was one before that- probably 1930’s. This song was not in those. Bradley Cooper & Gaga recorded this. It may have won a Grammy.

I honestly believe that Kirstie deserves far more recognition than she gets. People talk about the range that Scott has, or being 'Mitch slapped' etc, but people seldom pick Kirstie out for special praise. She has an amazing voice and, to be honest, I would much rather be 'slapped' by Kirstie than by Mitch.

Bradley Cooper actually sang this song with Lady gaga and I was impressed at least what I heard. I knew that Bradley was solid 10/10 male actor with his perfomance in 'American Sniper and in this movie', but I never would expect him to sing as well... And this video was a huge compliment for the original song.

This was released as a single, but the Japan 5th Anniversary album has songs from their entire career, including some that aren't on any of their other albums. And it's the only Pentatonix CD I've seen that has a lyric booklet -- the English lyrics and Japanese translations. Except for the two Japanese songs -- Pretender and the Perfume medley, which only has the Japanese.

Shallow is one of the big songs from the remake of "A Star Is Born", with Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper. Scott sang Bradley's part (Bradley didn't do badly, considering he's not a singer), and Kirstie took Lady Gaga's part (Kevin's cello work replicated a guitar line). IMO, all of them blew the originals out of the water. This is a showcase for Kirstie, showing the power and passion she can include in her singing. The only song that comes close (and in my opinion, squeaks by this one) is Say Something - partially because it's somewhat longer, so we get to enjoy Kirstie even more, but also because of the harmonies included in that one. To show you the attention to detail that PTX includes in their videos: you may have noticed that this video was shot entirely in black-and-white, except for occasional splashes of gold (jewelry, room fixtures). This replicates the movie posters for A Star Is Born, which were all black-and-white except for the lettering in the title, which was gold.
