Gitanjali is a collection of 103 poems by Rabindranath Tagore. It was published in Bengali in 1910 and in English in 1912. Tagore received the Nobel Prize in 1913 for its English translation, namely Song Offerings.
Tagore said for Gitanjali, "I am here to sing thee songs," making spirituality and devotion the major themes of these poems.
This is an important work, prescribed for UPHESC, BA, MA, NTA NET, SET, UPSC and other competitive exams. This will also help students preparing for GATE, CUET PG and more. This video is a part of the UPHESC English syllabus series by Heena Wadhwani.

There’s no single pronunciation of any word in the world. The Scottish for example will say Poyum for poem and they are very British. Anyone who knows sociolinguistics should never expect one correct pronunciation.
