Vestuario, concepto de la historia con problemáticas modernas Ni hablar de la escenografía maravillosa y la forma como ella se va construyendo a largo de la ópera. El uso de tecnologías fascinante. Don't understand this modern interpretation of the great Aida. The main attraction of this magnificent opera is just in the special atmosphere of Ancient Egypt and its unique clothes . We have already enough opera situated in modern times

Verona...Italy....no comment...top stage and atmosphere...top opera country. But... I really don't want to touch the honor and reputation of the artists performing here, they performed to the limit of their abilities...but who did the selection and casting of soloists for such spectacular performances and how? Especially for Amneris and partly also for Aida. Both were especially in the lower passages with difficulties at their limit. It's a shame, the opera is beautiful, one of the best in terms of music, singing and scenery. It is always a great challenge for those who take it on and want to perform it well...,

Excellent Aida, beautiful singing beautiful lady! Amneris looks like a grandmother so unbelievable, retire lady the time comes for all of us singers to know when to step back and let the new generation take over. Idiotic sets costumes I don’t think VERDI had this in mind this is more like a Cirque du solei production ! Why not spend all that money on a beautiful traditional Egyptian sets and costumes after all that’s what the audience is paying for to see!

AFFREUSE mise en scène , AFFREUX costumes, tout cela pour une pseudo modernité visuelle. Mais bon sang où est passé le temps des spectacles, dans lesquels la mise en scène, la scénographie, les costumes sont ceux du temps de l' époque décrite dans les ouvrages.

alles muss dem Zeitgeist entsprechen...ich liebe die Oper mehr als alle anderen Künste - und wenn ich in die Oper gehe,dann möchte ich in eine ferne Welt eintauchen,ein schönes,trauriges oder auch lustiges Märchen mit grossartiger Musik geniessen.Die Realität ergreift tagtäglich Besitz von mir,aber das ist den Verantwortlichen egal - Hauptsache sie fangen den "Zeitgeist" ein und erziehen das Publikum...ist leider so... Ich bin ein 1964 geborener "Alter Weisser Mann" und vermisse die alten Märchen,die meiner Meinung nach "kein" Unheil angerichtet haben und auch niemanden verletzt haben - nur stehe ich mit dieser Meinung ziemlich allein...😢

No me gustó la puesta de la Fura. Aida ya es en sí un gran espectáculo operistico y no hace falta adherirle uno circense.Por otro lado la señora Casolla en una soprano con aproximadamente 35 años de carrera y a llegado el momento de sus adioses si ya no lo hizo.

If this is from 2013, then she'd be just under 60. I was an extra at the Lyric Opera of Chicago when the soprano singing Aida sang the lead with Sondra Radvranovsky singing Aida in an alternate cast

There is a big mistake about Act 1,second quadro ”Possente Ftha" the sponer singer lost 2-3key just destroyed this great Opera No one found it,come on ,i collect many of AIDA cd and DVD, unfortunately the sponer singer broken the moon

As for myself, the opera Aida lacks any real beautiful melodious arias. The saving grace in the whole opera is the "masterpice" La marcia triumfale.

eine Oper ist kein Schlagerfestival und auch keine Hitparade - versuch einfach mal die Oper als ein Gesamtkunstwerk zu betrachten - sollte das zu kompliziert sein,dann kauf dir einfach eine CD mit den grössten Opernhits😂😂😂
